  1. Hmmm, I can't see me wanting a piece of my husband's Honda Aerodeck if we ever went our separate ways. Eeeek, he might get his hands on my Lexus....best be nice to him!
  2. Woohoo, save us some cake! Happy birthday Steve!
  3. Thought the ladies might appreciate this one
  4. Well I live and work around the Thames Valley and there seem to be bloomin' hundreds of IS200's. I also chose a Sapphire Blue colour as I only ever saw the Platinum Ice ones, now there seems to be more of the blue ones than any other. Guess I must just be a trend-setter!!!
  5. Happy birthday Steve! Eat, drink and be merry
  6. I always find that the synthetic ones work best !
  7. Yep, it's done and dusted (I think - Steve...) Steve had to put down a deposit for the club for 5 cars, but we can have as much space as we need. Basically, if I remember rightly, you just need to pre-book your tickets to take advantage of the club discount.
  8. The best chammy I've ever had was an Autoglym (I'm sounding like Wildrnes and his passion for Meguires!) one. Our friendly car valeter recommended it and I got it from Halfords for £7.99. Comes in a clear plastic box with green ends if that's any help...!
  9. Thanks Colin! That seems like a good price, I'll follow up on that.
  10. Thanks for that. I couldn't really find what I was looking for (blinded by science) but I'll give them a call.
  11. Used the Zymol at the weekend and really rate it. It's a lot easier to use than the Autoglym and soaks in very well. It's really made a difference to the look of my leather seats.
  12. Not sure what gas is used, but I'd be interested to know if anyone can recommend a cheaper place to go for a recharge, rather than a Lexus dealer.
  13. er, perhaps he just watched The Fast and The Furious and got a bit over-excited?!
  14. Will it soften the blow though ?!?!?!?
  15. I quite like the new Skyline, but prefer the aggressive styling on the older models. They should have kept those, released this one but called it something else. It reminds me of the SC430, so they could have aimed it at this type of market... Just me two'penneth ;)
  16. I got that message followed by 'any other people claiming to have won will be sorely disappointed' :P
  17. I rate the Autoglym stuff. The dash cleaner is in a spray can but if you're worried about getting an even finish, just spray it direct onto the cloth and wipe it over
  18. Hey Jac, Nice to meet you! See you at another meet I expect.
  19. Funny !!! My 'school girl' French helped!
  20. How's this for daft, anyone near enough to Slough seen the Farnham Road? From 30mph limit to 20mph limit back to 30mph, back to 20mph - on one road and only a few metres apart
  21. Welcome to the club - enjoy your new car! I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the change :D
  22. Are you buying privately or through a garage? If it's through a garage, I'd have thought they'd have been able to sort some of this out for you prior to purchase. I know you can refurb the seats as Steve (Admin) was talking about this. Maybe he can point you in the direction of a decent supplier?
  23. Why do people use Kwick Fit? Shop around and you will get better deals. Sorry Claire but if you went to Bracknell Tyre and Battery (which is only a few miles away from Slough) they would have cost £91.59 inc. valve, balance, fitting and VAT for the same tyre (SP9000 215/45x17) I know what you mean Colin, we use Bracknell Tyre and Exhaust for my hubbie's car. Mine's a lease car so I have to go where they tell me to go and they pick up the bill.
  24. I know it's bloomin' expensive whatever it is :D
  25. I don't even want to know about the state of his curtains :P
