  1. Hope you and your pride and joy get well soon Tony. At least your insurance is one less thing to worry about. All the best, Claire
  2. The last registered owner is held responsible. No arguments, apparently it's non-negotiable
  3. Oh come on Claire...your not fooling anyone, don't use the little one as an excuse for your real musical tastes :P Caught bang-to-rights
  4. You're embarrassed - I've now got Winnie-the-Pooh songs playing. Only thing that keeps little 'un quiet in the car now Certainly can't claim any street cred with that one
  5. With the money you've saved from not smoking - get lyposuction. Problem solved :P
  6. It makes you feel physically sick doesn't it. A couple of years ago, when we lived in an particularly grotty area near Heathrow, we complained to a couple of neighbours about the behaviour of their kids (vandalism etc). Hey presto, went to put the car in the garage to find every single door had been bricked, rear screen smashed to smithereens etc. :tsktsk: Jealous :tsktsk: don't realise that the majority of people work hard to get things - an alien concept to these miserable :tsktsk:
  7. High - staying with/being with my husband after a tough 2002 Low - loosing relations to cancer
  8. I normally hate computer games with a passion, I've no patience or skill for them (!). My better half went and bought an Eye Toy for the Playstation the other day and set it up yesterday - it's bloomin' brilliant!!! It's essentially a web cam that films you and puts you in the computer games. I was boxing, cleaning windows, spinning plates and funky diva dancing last night - it's so addictive. I was knackered afterwards though, think I've found my new exercise regime for the New Year now ;) Anyone else got one? I think they're about £30 (so other half told me, so could feasibly be more...!). Great for parties and for when you've had a few :D
  9. Congratulations Tony. This has got to be a first surely, a car club helping to name a baby ;)
  10. 1) Jools Holland - Small World Big Band Friends 3 2) The Best of REM 3) Maroon 5 4) Red Hot Chili Peppers 5) Avril Lavigne 6) The Best of Aretha Franklin
  11. Have you test driven an IS200 yet? Not sure what you're after but if you're happy with your Nissan, you may be a bit disappointed with the acceleration on the IS. It's a bit underpowered in comparison, but it kicks in! Some of the peeps here have superchargers ;)
  12. I reckon it was sat around for a bit before it was registered ;) Just double checked though, it's the rear screen and the front fogs that are etched Toyota...
  13. I *think* you can get clear plastic mats to go over them to protect them in the worse weather...
  14. and your grill :P Doesn't count so far as it's not arrived yet
  15. Blimey, how would you know Ian (before it collapsed) :o My husband curbed one of my wheels and I'm planning to get it refurbed in the New Year - any tips on what to look out for?
  16. Bought my hubby a personal registration for his birthday and we've stuck those on with bog-standard sticky pads - they've worked a treat :)
  17. Lexus insurance are reasonable (for me anyway) and I know they insure modded cars. Bell Direct are also another good one - they're in the Yellow Pages.
  18. Ooh, you admit to watching Eastenders ;)
  19. I got some CDs, Welsh Rugby top (well, someone has to support the underdogs!), lots of smellies, and a car cleaning kit :D
  20. I've got a Dell Axim and really rate it. It's a lot cheaper than a Compaq iPaq but just as good for what I needed it for.
