Oven cleaner. No, don't laugh - it's true. Following on from tips from Rodders_UK and Norkep I tried it on mine (they were shockingly bad) and they came up a treat!

It won't die (especially if you've ordered a hamper from Fortnum's - beats my M&S sarnies anyday!). John's put a lot of effort into this and I'm helping to follow up. Don't make any firm plans until you hear for definite but it'll be going ahead end of May/beginning June.

I had a hands-free kit fitted organised through work, but they couldn't get it to automatically mute the stereo. I'm not sure if this is due to any complexity of the wiring or just cost, but they've not been able to do this in my IS or GS

Jemca on the Edgware Road sorted the body work out on my IS after its coming-together with a lorry. I thought they were first-rate but it was a pain in the bum they are so far from where I live (very inconsiderate of them!) They bent over backwards to get me a loan car at short notice and kept me informed of the work they'd done. Even sorting out a job that wasn't the result of the accident. Very impressed with them.

Just got a gas BBQ in time for the weekend, it's great. No messing around trying to get it lit and the taste is just as authentic (yes, I burnt the sausages).

Yeah alright I deserve that one, but please bear in mind that Fri was the first time I could get online since 8th April so haven't been involved in this so far. John's been organising things with Donington but if they haven't returned any calls/emails as yet.... I'll look into another venue as a plan B, but need to know if you've a preference for location -oop North, dahn Sarf or Midlands? Cheers, Claire

My sincere apologies, but I've not been able to advise before now (had no access to forums), but I've been unable to get a Club pitch for this years Japfest. The only option open to us it to meet and then convoy to Japfest so that we can park together, but this will be in one of the car parks open to the public. Not ideal but an option none-the-less. The reason I've been unable to get a pitch was that I wasn't early enough to book it in and there's been a greater demand from clubs this year. There's a waiting list but I had confirmation today that we've not been successful on this front either. Sincere apologies, Claire

YES!!!! Please take the b****y thing off my hands! I haven't wanted to put it in the garage in case it gets damaged, so it's lovingly wrapped in bubble wrap and stored in our downstairs loo at the moment. I get the most strange looks when people see a sports grill in there! Let me know where you want it sent, send me a cheque and I'll get it out to you!!!

Hello y'all, I'm back! Anyone miss me? I've not been able to get online since 8th April (not that I was counting!), due to problems with my laptop and the network not letting me on Anyway, I'm looking forward to catching up and getting back in to the swing of things! What about Marlborough - the Savernake Forest? There's a camp site called Postern Hill, owned by the Forestry Commission. It's easy to get to - via M4, at junction 15 take the A346 to Marlborough. The woods in this area are located to the south of Marlborough and there's BBQ areas next to the camp site.
