  1. Just wanted to check numbers, please add your name if you're not on the list and you want to come along: Steve Fargo Gordon G Hutchinson Dobedo + Jane Dave Ellen + Kami + dogs (!) Pete Jenkin N30JJB Zee Aido? Norkep
  2. We were luckier and showed our Gold cards yesterday and were waved straight through. The hospitality was top notch and the staff were fantastic - even to the point of taking our two year old on a quick jaunt round the stand so I could have a massage and my husband have two minutes peace!
  3. Zymol do quite a good leather cleaner/conditioner - I try and do mine every couple of months
  4. Best cure ever... drink some diaoralite (not sure of spelling) - the stuff comes in sachets, and is usually used for kids who are dehydrated. Works every time! (preferably try and drink some before you hit the hay or as soon as you wake up!!!)
  5. I'm surprised you've had so many probs with Lexus Edgware Road, when they did the bodywork on my IS200 after a coming together with a lorry, I really rated them. I was dealing with a lady called Michelle who seemed to coordinate everything. Hope it's all ok now for you though
  6. I'm not a new member but now have different thoughts on this now I have bought an older car which is long out of warranty. I would be willing to travel to take the GS to an independant specialist as long as I was confident that the service, knowledge and diagnostic tools were top notch. It would be better to have somewhere closer to home, but would travel if it would save me money in the long term!
  7. It's like the anti-war demonstrators, the people chucking flour filled condoms at the PM, etc etc etc. Have they any real influence in changing policies? I doubt it, but at least they try! Personally I think most political parties will be brought into something if they think it's a vote winner.
  8. You can also get advice of employment law through ACAS: http://www.acas.org.uk/
  9. I'd be game for that! Wouldn't it be good if one of these campaigns finally worked?!?!
  10. Any contributions (of the hard cash variety too ;) ) are gratefully received - this is costing the Club an arm and a leg... BUT!!! Should be good fun :)
  11. One of the senior chaps at work has just taken me out in his Ferrari 456 GT - I've never been a huge fan of Ferrari but WOW!!!! It was brilliant fun and it goes like the proverbial poo off a shovel...can't wipe the smile off my face :D :D :D :D
  12. Can you post below if you are interested in coming along and also for which day(s). We have some tickets reserved and would like to get them out to you! Please let us know by 4th June. Muchos gracias amigos :)
  13. Alas, off to the motor show at the NEC or else I'd have come along - it's a good venue (well, used to be many years ago!)
  14. Your best bet is to post a new topic to ask for advice/opinions. The IS seems to be made for modding! And a lot of people have superchargers or NOS to help performance! The people that have done this will be able to let you know rough costs and BHP figures and also advise as to where this can be done. TDI-plc is a good contact also. :)
  15. Blimey! They should look at the Shakespeare raceway (used to be Avon Park raceway) in Stratford as an alternative venue next year - we used to have a brilliant time there when we used to go to the VW beetle shows!
  16. Tee, hee, hee, will the GS's soon outnumber the IS200 brigade?!?! <-- I can say that now I've bought one!
  17. When the rad on our Honda Prelude went, I managed to find a firm specialising in refurbed rads. It's lasted another 4 years and is still going strong (we sold the car to a friend!). Maybe worth while seeing if you can find a refurbed one and a mechanic to fit it?
