  1. OK good advice thanks. I think I better get Pads changed well before they ware out any further. Did experience some light braking also. Any Mk2 owner like to add latest on set of front and rear pads cost from lexus dealers.

  2. Noticed that when I started engine wound window down there was a slight noise. Deliberately wanted to check any noise cos inside very nice and quiet. So decided to check. It seems that the drive belt has small tiny cracks in it. So this is the cause of the noise. If so is this a DIY job or does it require any specialist tools or access. Can clearly simply cut the existing one off and remove. But the small cracks are quite noticable both on the inner side and outer surface. But how to fit new one. Thanks in advance. Clearly this is also a service item but feel if I can manage to do it myself save costs.

  3. We all know but Parkers get it wrong with Gs300SE (98) but probably a simple mistake others are OK. They point out that its a 4 Cyl with 16V. Came accross this as I was checking the review for the Mk3. Once again simple error worth noting.

  4. Yes OK thanks. Could be a slight fitting error possibly at the Wiper Arm but seems to be sitting very well. I will check again. The PIAA kit is roughly the same price. As you say too late now. Though it should not happen even in light rain. Dry yes. But the noise in light rain is a bit too loud the ruber is not moving back and forth but dragging on one side. But to quick for my vision to be precise.

  5. My old rubber was worn so I went to lexus and got a new one. However it did not fit. Realized that the whole blade assembly was non toyota/lexus. So bought the whole blade with rubber included and fitted it. But it does make a noise with rain water I have to keep pumping the washer fluid to lubricate it to silence it. Will it settle with time or is it some other problem. Old blade assembly was a very light in weight compared to the toyota genuine part. Kept it. But reckon new one might quiet down after a while but should it be so.
