  1. You want UK spec brakes the cheapest you will get them is through a guy called steve manley at toyota. In fact pretty much any toyota part he will discount for you. Search steve manley on the mk4dotnet forum for his phone number.

  2. Staying with supras for now. I'm hoping that the NA manual car will hold its value a bit better than an early aristo as I can't afford to have a spare 3rd car sitting devalueing and losing me more money if I'm honest.

  3. Dood the baby seat fitted in my Mk1 no probs at all. Admitedly it needed a bit of foam putting under the child seat at the childs feet end because of the angle the seat base sat at. Its the graco all in one system we have. The car seat base stays in the car and the baby seat clips in and out. The same baby seat clips in and out of the pram as well. When the child grows older the pram is used as a normal pram without the seat.

  4. You won't have a problem torqueing it back up. The reason that its so tight is this

Torqueing the bolt up is the same rotational direction as the engine. The bolt over time further torques itself using the inertial force of the engine. (we used to get this on the aft heads jesus nut on the chinook helicopter, we usually ended up drilling the nut off as theres ***** all you can do when the 7000 Lb F Ft multiplyer won't move it). So basically its going to be significantly higher than 200 lb f ft of torque to remove it but you only have to put 200 Lb f ft of torque on it when you do it back up, which is torque wrench tight not ten white knuckles and bust a blood vessel in your head tight.

  5. Mine was fine on most sul's except sainsburies and that was running 474 bhp on stock tubbies.

Anyways tesco's 99 is cheaper than optimax :D

Sad sight of the day was watching her being driven away by her new owner :(

  6. Thing is all I need to control is the engine as I haven't got an automatic box that needs controlling anymore :) If a supe 6 speed box fixes it then all the better. I'll let you all know in about 2 hours.
