I never had a car before so not really clued up or normal driving with FWD and RWD but when tuning it off it does get interesting done a skip pan at goodwood was a bit of a laugh. can catch you out if your not concentrating think the turbo is going to be harder to control :duh:

Indeed but all the H+S ppl will be asking why it went wrong etc so theres always someone who will take the fall, obviously the owner doesnt want to so shifting blame to others. All we can do is be thankful that it has ended this way instead of him being dead or disabled, hes a very lucky man

Well someones gotta get the blame for it this popped up on yahoo this morning The owner of the jet car involved in a high-speed crash which nearly claimed the life of Richard Hammond appears on Monday to lay the blame for the accident on the Top Gear presenter. Dramatic footage of the crash clearly showed the car's right front tyre shredded following a blowout as Hammond tore down an airfield runway at speeds approaching 300mph. He appeared to lose control of the dragster, which veered off the runway on to the grass before overturning. But on Sunday's Sun newspaper, Colin Fallows suggested Hammond was to some extent to blame for the crash by "failing to adhere to the briefing". He said: "Mr Hammond had a puncture and carried on with the tyre deflated", adding that Hammond "stood on the brakes" after the blowout. He said: "Once these cars are in motion you don't touch the brakes. You stay on the prescribed line and should always be aware of the unexpected. "By failing to adhere to the briefing, what would have been a controllable incident ended in a major accident." The BBC and Mr Fallows' firm, Primetime Landspeed Engineering, may be prosecuted for failing to take due care, the paper said. On Sunday night dramatic footage of the 288mph crash was shown for the first time. Aired on Top Gear's first show of the new series, it revealed the 36-year-old's miraculous escape when he crashed while filming a stunt for the programme in September.

Cheers Gav thats what i needed to know so with no boost controller i will run .4 bar all day long then if i need to go to .5 or .6 i need a boost controller ? Another Q is if i wanted to raise the boost to .5 without a boost controller is that possible by adjusting the waste gate manually ??????

I thought it was down to waste gate ??? Can i not adjust the waste gate so when it hits .5 bar it holds it ???? Or is that what the boost controller does as i dont wanna blow up first time i hit boost Barry pm'd Maruc pm'd Dave not getting that kit done yet as going to do all that with internals, ecu etc as i believe it shud be ok at .5 bar

I was advised by Mark at TDI to get a fuel cutter anyone got any ideas to help me along the way

Looks good mike im a bit confused tho At first i could see where it was going but now its a 2JZ GTE engine surely just doing a simply conversion like the monster or gav. with turbos would be easier and produce more HP. But i suppose theres always reason for doing something new and your not one to shy away from such tasks :) The 3.4 stroker kit comes very highly recommended from ppl i've spoken with if you can afford it tho just looked on tdi site and wow i bought my whole lexus for just over that LoL. Cant wait to see it at JAE fingers crossed that it'll be done in time.

Hey there im getting the old PS3 in the summer sometime once the rush is over So now im looking to get a xbox 360 ive found some deals the best seems to be Xbox 360 2 pads all the wires etc headset and Project gothem racing 3 and some ardac classics thingy all for £299.95 anyone else found any good deals or anything like this. Also im after Call of duty 3, Pro Evo 6 and most probably Test drive ultiamte anyone know the cheapest place for games ????
