I think i might have got the wrong end of a stick here, by aqua mist i mean having hoses places around the engine and cooling with spray nossles on the end, so when car very hot i can spray cold water onto radiator/intercooler, manifold etc what ever gets hot really, as then it will cool down pretty quick. Liek these ones that TDi sell, its just cheap alternative if it works http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/product_inf...roducts_id=4123 ok we are talking about 2 different things here - aqua mist is a device to inject water into the intake manifold to increase the density of the air. u are talking about an intercooler spray - think the evo has this fitted, yes water spray on intercoolers does work and many industries use it to aid in cooling - on the thought of using the headlight washers - the time they are out might be a prob as its only very short. another option would be to use fan type windscren washer nozzles and mount them on the bumper to spray onto the cooler u could modify the timing quite easily i suspect Yep we're on the same page now :D lol I havent got the headlight washers anymore got a different front bumper, so where the nossle out the bottom of the washer bottle is for the headlight washers i was going to just get a hose with a fan type spray end piece and mount them over the intercooler. I am now thinking tho if the motor to squirt the water for the headlight washers was actually on them or if it was on the bottom of the washer bottle itself hmmmm me going to have a look

hey guys im thinking of putting some sort of aqua mist cooling on the car for a bit of fun and just if it get mega hot in the summer. And i was thinking i have a bumber with out the holes for the washer jets for the head lights. I am thinking of getting some hosing and nossles together to set up over the intercooler and radiator, and when i need a shot of cold water to cool it down i just hit the head light washer. Is this a cunning plan or is there a fault im going to bump into. The only thing i can think of is i will only be able to use just water in the washer bottle instead of cleaning stuff. The middle bit from the top bit Tried to unscrew it and it snapped, just need those bits but now u say that i need a threaded bit to go into the block as well. The sensor screws on to the end of this so that can be plugged straight back in. Just need that middle and top bit in the photo grrrr so angry

LoL yeah i did try but i think the sensor screws into the block where as i need a thread coming from the block if u see what i mean. doesnt matter now as i need the 2 bits as they snapped. Anyone got any idea where to get them from, ive tried local garages but they had nout

Cheers Marcus looks like it must have taken a while :) Ok i went under the car today and looked for this oil pressure switch. Think i found it, but I dont think i can plumb into it with the oil line ive got, Gav can u point out which one it is i have to screw your oil feed to?? In black is the switch i think, but i need a thread to screw on to this screws into the block. In Red i dunno when i undid it red fluid came out the bottom bit In green is a hose which goes from there up to just above the red thing. in blue is the oil filter Help me please. This is the thing that has to go on Gav can u tell me where to buy the middle and top one please as it has snapped, i was very angry when this happened, i just cnt leave things alone lol. Dunno if im very unlcuky but i tried to wathc on 3 differnet PC's and it didnt work all with an hour after u posted adie, me so angry :( You using Internet Explorer? Yep on 2 of the computers then the other was using firefox, went ot my mates house who's usually has a picture of an empty room but it didnt work round there either, :(:(:(

Well today had the afternoon off, rang the welder he said i need to take suspension and wheel off so he can cut and weld. So thats what we did :) The is the bit that needs to be cut out and rewelded, the area to the left of the 2 bolt in middle of picture. HKS strut on the floor with wheel and packet of crisps :) The car jacked up very high lol a bit wobbly, but have since lowered and put a second support just incase the wind gets up in the night. Also decided to fit this shiny new thing today :) thanks to marcus, there are a few bits that he probably couldnt get the polishing wheels into but they dont show when all the stuffs back ontop. Horrid old dirty cover :( Cams inside looked in pretty good nick, couldnt see much wear on anything, looked like new TBH. Another Shiney one back on, left the old gasket on as it look perfect and didnt really want to come off anyway, i'll keep an eye open for any leaks when i start her up first time. Another, photos really dont do it justice it does look a lot better the only thing is now ive gotta do the rest of the engine Lol Little piece i started to clean then the paint came off so i carried on and its pretty much as shiney as the rocker cover now which is good :) Another all finished up with the little 90 degree bend back on, if u can see it that is lol

I'll leave it for now as need to get her running with all the fueling etc first but its an option

Boost is 0 at the moment lol but will be 0.4 bar as thats what the waste gate is set at, think u can run about 0.5 or 0.6 before the engine goes pop HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT RUNNING A 1GGTE BOTTOM END THEY ARE HEAPS STRONGER WHAT TURBO ARE YOU USING. DOES THE CAR GO BETTER THEN STOCK ANY WAY YOUR RIDE LOOKS HOT. CAN YOU FIND OUT WHAT CAR THE MANIFOLE CAME OUT OFF PLEASE It is made for the IS200, ask either Dave who runs Prolex or gsportscar, who has added posts above, as i bought this second hand, im not sure where it came from originally. Not thought about doing that what car is the 1G GTE from is it a early supra or something ???

Each to their own, as long as it doesnt effect me im not fussed but they do need to see to the extremists, not just in Islam in all ways of life and religion, but that would be in a perfect world. The extremists are getting the young thats the really bad part, when your older you can make your own mind up on what u think/believe is right or wrong. Anyone seen the stuff on the new partical generator ?? being built under genever border, they say it should be able to recreate the big bang to find out what happened think this could shake up some relgions and some views, i supose we'll have to wait and see.

Hi guys i have been advised form another forum that the IS200 has an oil light and i could get a T piece to go into that oil line to take my oil pressure gauge off. I just need to know if we have got a oil light (if so mines never come on) and if we have where is the sensor is so i can see if its possible to tap in to it. Cheers Elliott

The only thing is i can get a sump nut one for the temp thats fine, but i think i will need to get the sandwich plate modified as, if this is a oil temp divertor in the sandwich plate i can put any sensors after it or they'll only work once the sandwich plate has reached temperature nad letting oil through, a bit of a head scratcher LoL
