  1. yup............. for avoidance of doubt the 1G-GTE pistons are only good for turbo'd engines Just the pistons or all the internals ?? Bit of a long shot but is there any chance you could weigh the standard block and internals and the 1G-GTE set up, just interested to see how much heavier it will be. If its to much hassle dont bother i'll give it ago when i do mine.
  2. I was looking in the paper this week and pretty much the whole of europe hasnt had snow since the begining of feb and its been to warm for snow cannons so condition are getting worse by the day. Canada etc have had good snow but big bucks to get over there. Each season is getting more random, last year was pretty bad didnt snow till late december in places then this year great snow early on in the season but now looks like it could be finished early. If you do go away you have to look into snow condition etc closely the best way to do it is last minute you get cheapest deals and can be 100% that there will be snow. If your first time away look into resorts with lots of blues and reds you'll get bored of green straight away.
  3. Cool maybe if we can get enough people interested a little group buy could bring cost down. If found LOADS on ebay for all types of jap cars im guessing that one of them must fit ours just need to find out which one.
  4. Monster matt what boss have you got ????
  5. Add me in for this im sure i'll have a few buddies coming i'll be there for the friday night :)
  6. Ive found this one of merlin but its for an is300 im guessing it will fit a is200 i dont see the steering rack/wheel being any different. http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p9344/Mo...oduct_info.html Does anyone know any other companys that sell bosses for the is200 or 300 or just one that fits ? Cheers Elliott
  7. How old is your car mate? I am sure I read that some early IS200 Sport's didn't actually have an LSD.... Ohhh really mine 2000 on an X plate, anyone else know anything about this ???
  8. Cheers Dude cars been sitting there most of the winter and thought what shall i do with it. So thought sod it strip her out get some buckets new steering wheel and lets have some fun LoL Im off to lots of motorsport places with college as well so hopefully this could open up some new opportunities. Does anyone know what kind of LSD the IS200 sport has ??? I remember reading somewhere about it having some sort of LSD but cant remember where and as always the search on here has turned up a blank
  9. Ahhh those ones coolio, i agree with you on there not the nices set of wheels going LoL. I remember someone saying the offset on larger wheels is 40ET or something not 100% sure. I think monster matt will be able to give me some advice when he logs on.
  10. The standard is200 s wheels are 16inch :D Which ones ??? Ive got the 5 spoke ones but i thought they where 17s
  11. Well after much debating i think i'm gonna start going for a few drift what you brung days around the country. A mate went the other day in his £1000 nissan sx200 and loved it. The only thing is i cant afford the tires. He got through nearly 4 sets in a day. I can get lots of part worn 15 and sometime 16 for free so i now need to know has anyone ever run 15 or 16 inch wheels on the IS200. These will only be for the rears though. If i can run them what kinda offset am i looking for ??? ANy help would be great Cheers Elliott
  12. I work at halford (unfortunatly) and work on the sat nav section. Dont go for anything bar the tom tom or garmins, some of the navmans are ok but i would still recommend the tom tom or garmin. At the moment i think the Garmin nuvi 200 is £99.99 which is a bargin really good piece of kit. If your needing europe the nuvi 250 is £139 i think (Prices change weekly) Tom Tom are pretty good, but i have really started to favour the Garmins they have a nicer look to them, the maps are more friendly than the TT. The TT maps look like a 1990 flight slimulator. Both will get you to where u need to go though so up to you at the end of the day. Hope this helps Elliott
  13. Looks good fella I was looking for a nice oil filler cap a couple of months back nearly bought a proper TRD one for over £50 quid but luckily i came to my senses and didnt, now ive herd direct possitive feed back from this i might just have to get one :)
  14. this is ashame time attack looks really good, is bazza still doing it ??? Dave could you not get another bonnet and have one for race and one for road ??? Bonnet pins only take 10 mins to put on after you've located them. Just a thought.
  15. Looks good fella, saw this set up when away in fracne this year, its very in your face, but i like it :) What do you think about the EST system ? Is it any good ? It looks quite easy to adjust but is there only the 2 bolts holding the binding in or is there something else ??? I'll deffo be up for coming up here, they got any jumps/night sessions, i think at the birmingham snowdome they have a jump session on some saturday nights
  16. Looking through the handbook it appears you can select - tools > profiles> offline which enables use of the phone without making or receiving calls, but still able to use Bluetooth and WLAN...so not sure if this would be 'flightsafe'? I use the offline mode on flights and they've not crashed LoL i think this is nokias idea for flight mode i wouldnt see any other use for it otherwise.
  17. Sorry guys forgot about this just facebooked my mate to get him on the case
  18. Ive not herd bad things about the HKS either, but ive got apexi as well which seems fine. Stav theres probably a fair amount of difference in the amount of suction between this and a supra though I would be shocked if a little 1.3 could suck an airfilter into its engine LoL Nice looking car though i looked at getting one before the lex, when i was looking they seemed quite pricey do they hold there value well ???
  19. Dont think you've read the title mate LoL I agree with the others something sounds very gratey like metal on metal, did u make sure that oil feed was pumping through before actually switching on the engine ? don't think u've read post 37 lol. it says there may be a new s/c for IS200 cars........... Yup my bad LoL Prolex are doing one soon i think
  20. Dont think you've read the title mate LoL I agree with the others something sounds very gratey like metal on metal, did u make sure that oil feed was pumping through before actually switching on the engine ?

  22. Just got back from skiing was really good, if your going away in August you'll have to look high most glaciers have snow all year round but best to go from december to april. Ever thought about doing a fly and drive ??? dunno where but could be a laugh
  23. The thing i want to know is how he knew that last horse would win when he changed it at the last minute, unless he bet 4 grand on all the horses guess we'll never know
