  1. Hi guys i've never needed to adjust the dampering on my coilovers but now i have stripped it out it has obviously change the whole car, so need to start tweeking the suspension. I thought this would be an easy job just turning the knob on the top, open bonnet and boot, there are no knobs on the end, now there are to flat edges on the top of the thread that sticks out and i am thinking i just need to get a spanner on there and twist that, but i dont want to go and do something like start bleeding the oil/gas or something. Anyone got any ideas let me know Have got instructions but all in jjjaaaapppoooonnnesesesey Cheers Elliott
  2. I have a turbo kit for sale, with or wthout engine and gearbox
  3. still not got the fuelling sorted ? Fuels not to bad crusing on the motorway but i just wouldnt want to be in the bucket seat for 3 - 4 hours each way LoL
  4. Might be interested depends when it is got exams coming up :( Just looked and its 185 miles each way for me as well so might look into a trailer if i come or i think i'll be crippled LoL
  5. This looks worrying Dave have you folded you mirrors in by mistake or have you done so in an effort to gain an aero dynamic advantage of 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000001 %
  6. I'm all up for a peaceful protest, but i think a few things need to be sorted first, as if we get people no matter how many to go and rally, we all will be using petrol, in previous post 100's and even 1000's where used to this would be a lot of petrol and a lot of money. Also i know the government add the tax ontop and are seen as the bad guys but dont forget 2 of the big petrol companies just earnt 3.5 billion in 3 months which was something stupid like 3 million quid an hour, they can easily drop prices as well if there earning this kinda of cash.
  7. With the new ***-*** i will remove the air con etc so all in good time, I think i'm going to buy delcan (cptsideways) off driftworks. its heavy but power is good :D There could be a IS200 turbo engine with mapping for sale soon :) pm me if your interested
  8. Well hopfully you'll come and get your stuff soon so you can have a drive Traction control that for girls isnt it LoL i dont have it on when driving Yeah still running the same 0.4 bar , some big plan for the near future though ;)
  9. Quick up date harnesses and rear sturt brace arrived, fitted them and took the car for a good blast on a georgous day through some lovely south downs roads, went with mate in his 200sx which is boosting to 1.2 bar and mine was as quick if not quicker. It handles lovely the back is a bit wollowy on the limit and over bumps so going to start fiddling with the suspension and move battery to the boot to start shifting what weight is left to the back.
  10. Dave its going back in dont worry i just removed it to get all the crap out from behind it ;) @ Kiriyama - i havent got a passengers seat in at the moment but when i do it will be a bucket seat with full FIA approved harnesses so will be safer than standard with airbag :)
  11. Well didnt think i was gonna do anything today but got out in the car and the dash just had to come out. After a while of wiggling and undoing the dash came out :) I have taken as much of the thick rubber from behind the dash area out, its pretty heavy. Also took the airbag out , that on its own weighed 4kg so some good saving there.

  18. Ive got harnesses so yeah will be getting rid of them as well i'll get some photos up in my for sale thread, erm probably wont be able to did it tonight i'll try and get them up tomoro morn.
  19. Yes but someone is after them at the moment i have just pm'd them about them so i'll let you know if they take them or not. O actually my arent black there the creamy grey whity kinda colour LoL i can get some photos if needed
  20. I have indeed got the carpet with all the lexus floor mats as well, driver one is a bit worn obviosly as the car has done 100,000miles but it has got the clip to stop it going under the pedals. Are you interested ? Hows your car coming along
  21. I know the stuff you need to layer that over the top of something i think so i'll leave it think the poly carb should be good and it will be professionally sealed so keep me nice and dry :)
  22. I was thinking about this aswell but looking at carbon fibre sheets today and there not that cheap to get one to fit lookin at 150-200 quid for the sheet, I got quoted £600 for the whole car bar the front screen so just the sunroof should be 50-100 quid if i take the sunroof out so they just have to put knew one in and seal it up and i still get a bit of sun :D
  23. Cheers dude, it is a bit of a change but if you wanna go faster you gotta go lighter :) looking a polycarb sunroof as thats alot of weight up high in the car so that will help massively
  24. Cheers Janey, that damper doesnt look it will fit so might try and make a new bracket (blag it as course work at college or something) lol i might have the same trouble that barry has with the top width of the seat as this is the sprint and it very close to the A pillar so might not be able to fit a bigger seat like the Evo or pro2000 in :(
  25. well got some metal and bolted it in (will be welded when i find some one who is good and cheap) then bolted seat on top of that. More to come soon, half a rear strut brace turned up today have just emailed to see where the rest of it is LoL
