Okay! it's finnaly DONE!

Got some help from a nice lady at the bank today and she sorted things out for me!!

It was remakably easier than i have been earlier explained by the bank... (those incompitent fools)

Think i will use paypal from now on then... havent used it before...

I'm terribly sorry to keep you all waiting!

My bank here is extremly picky about foreign transfers and i have had a bit of a quarrel with them...

I wont go in details, but they are PICKY!

I have tried my best to get them to work, but they are not the most service minded ones i have met to put it that way!!

We gave it another shot today, so lets hope the money comes through...

I probably will this time but if it don't i will send you cash via airmail ASAP!

Again, I AM EXTREMLY SORRY people... There is just much more i can do... I have been trying my best... SORRY... dont want to come out as a bad payer and a selfish memer here, since i'm new and all...

Last week there was an invitation in my mailbox with the title: "Lexus Test drive event"... I opened it up and read that i am invited to test the new GS300 and the Rx400h!! Yesterday i tested them!

I must say i'm very impressed with both!

The RX was a superp SUV, can't understand why people buy the Bmw X5 or the Volvo XC90 instead of the RX! Packed with equipment, and loads of extras possible! And the price is the same as the competition... The audiosystem, the backup camera, navi, sound isolation, fuel consumpion etc. is amazing! I can't think of one reason why not to buy!! (exept from the price) but if i where to buy a new SUV and where thinking along the lines of X5 etc. i would'nt hesitate... I would even take the RX before the Cayenne.. A+!

And The GS... I'm getting one of these when the are a couple of years old! LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The design and the smart solutions on the inside dazzled me comletly! While driving i could'nt hear and noises from the tyres or annoying ambience... Totaly isolated! I'm saving up money allready!

And to Kaka, i'm driving down to our LOC friends i September to buy some goodies... I have allready spoken to the clueless guys at Lexus Olso, but they will re-register your car with your new BHP, witch means a ****load of money to the goverment... DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS :)

Not much competition between the Lexus dealers... since there only one... in Oslo. So the can pretty much decide the prices all on there own... Sad but true.

Congratulations on you new car! Have the automatic myself now, and you are going to be extremly happy with your car... My previous car was a Seat Leon Cupra R, but i had to go back to Lexus... There is just something special about them... (had a IS before the Cupra too)

FINNALY i'm not so alone...

Since i get free car wash, i do it 4-6 times a week... and i probably wax it once every two weeks... It just looks so much better when it's clean! Besides, i often get the guys at work to do it for me :)

Great! I have just been on the phone with a friend of mine, she is currently at LIPA in Liverpool and she says i can stay at her place when i'm visiting. So if you can help me install the mods near manchester that would be great!! (Liverpool and Manchester are close, arn't they?)

Think i will wait to do the turbo kit, but the exhaust and induction kits are for sure!

hmm...this Turbo kit is cheaper that the S\C... Is it any good? I have friend here that just finnished fitting one on his Primera, and he said he would help me fit it... £2500 is alot of money for 50bhp it think... Worth it probably, but still... no vacation for me and my girlfreind next year

Thats nice to hear... Think i will contact Pro-lex for prices and ask about the fitting etc.... Should be able to get a good price since i'm buying several items and i'm gold? (i hope)

I'm seriously thinking about the turbo or S\C to... what would you say is the best choise? after all, i'm not good at the mechanical stuff, so it would have to be easy to maintain...

I was thinking of London, but the boat docks in Newcastle.. Is it a long drive there? Thanks for the preorder tip! it would suck to come all that way for "sorry, sold out"... I am planning to make the stay as cheap as can be, so i can afford alot of goodies... But in London that might be a problem, i don't know... Actually i have never been in the UK, i have been way to focused on the countries far far away... It's a shame...

Both Pro-lex and TDI have shops? not just netshops? if so that is just great! Is there any meetings happening around the time im there? It would be neat to meet some of you! To me you are all just lexus geniuses with cool avatars B)

As i have one week of at the job in early september, i'm planning on driving over to the UK. The reason is simple: Here in cold Norway it's allmost impossible to get a hold of mod's for my Lexus, and if i buy for instance a new exhaust system over the net, the shipping prices will be scary... And since i'm no good at installing such things, it will cost me a great deal of money to get it fitted too...

So i have decided to drive there myself and buy everything i can afford and get it fitted while i'm there... This will actually save me quite some money, and i get to go on a little vacation too...

Anyway, the thing i'm wondering is where to go? and whom to speak to?

I'm mainly after cat-back stainless exhaust like the Kazama, and induction kit, and get my rear lights tinted... Maybe if my budget allows it, some Xenon headlights...

Any ideeas guys?

It seems to me that you are in a bit of a twist here... I have had one IS200 before the one i have now, and when i had the old one i did regret rushing into things... I have allways wanted the granite sky and went with a black one... 4 months later i sold it (actually making £2000) and bought a granite sky...

My advice is to wait and maybe look over the border for just the right colour. You're probably going to have the car for quite some time, since it is an EXELLENT car, so it is essential that you really like the colour too...

Get the colour YOU like... Personally there is only one

From what i have heard it's alot more work to it than the front lights... Witch i can't understand... What is different with the rears? is there a different type of glue or something?
