Hi. I have done a considerable amount of work on mine, suspension, hubs, brakes, wheel refurb and new tyres , service and cam belt.
the pre mot inspection shows brake and fuel lines are required but are no longer available from Lexus.
iv found a maker near me in Exeter but he requires measurements and fitting info.
has anyone replaced theirs and can help. VMT. Jim. -
Morning , I would love to state we are sorted, no, not quite, todate. I had the front passenger seat removed, took it to Bovey Tracy where the team did a great job removing the brake fluid stained seat base and replacing it with new leather. The colour and patina was a great match. I wasn’t able to sort the rear brake pistons out so the callipers were replaced. It’s having the seat reinstalled, the cam belt replaced , with a stainless exhaust and an MOT which I hope will be completed by the end of Oct,22. It’s been a long wait. On checking my file today I see my last MOTwas issues May 2013. Let’s hope it’s not May ‘23 for the next one. It had 205572 miles recorded back then. I’ll be at the garage later today to sort any last minute issues before we see her taxed and insured. Stay safe.

Well in truth , she was in use by myself and son , with her being a pet. Lol
But she had to share us with a VFR, Boxster, Scaglietti and Range Rover. Lol. Yes I’ll update when the MOT is in my hand. Jim

Afternoon. Just had the GS picked up to have the professions finish the job. I replaced , tyres, Battery, suspension and brakes/ discs. All the fluids were good but he will torque everything , drain it all and replace. Coolant , oil, sump plug , brake fluid and cam belt.
exhaust will be custom stainless when it’s ready for MOT. WE HAVE OWNED IT 23 years , being the 3 owner, son was one of them. Got a brake fluid stain on the passenger seat that didn’t respond to my treatments. So it will be taken out and a prof can repaint it.
just an update on what I started last year. Will advise. Stay safe.- 1
