I totally agree with you prevention is cheap. Aftermarket SatNav brackets left in the cabin attract thieves to check out the glove compartment/drivers side pocket etc. this invariably means a smashed window at best. Keep all 'temptations' well hidden.

6. No alarm when leaving the headlights on while engine-off. Another very very simply software program that could save our butt some day when we rush out from the car without switching off headlights.

I'm surprised at this-my 2003 RX has an alarm (soft tone) that goes on if i leave my lights on, doors or sunroof open etc

I had a go at this on my RX300 and it works a treat! definetly improved fuel consumption!

Does this work with the series 2 RX? are all the bits (MAF sensor) in the same places?

anyone have any ideas on how to adjust the drivers armrest on a mk2 rx? i must have twisted mine right round beyond the upright position and now its stuck round there. can it be taken off and refitted? any help would be gladly recieved

Just picked up my brand new 300 le nav today  lovely motor. Silly question i'm sure but at night with lights switched on should the elec mirror adjuster be illuminated?.  mine is not and it is Bit difficult to see  also wat on earth are all those lines and squiggles when using the reversing camera. scary stuff can anyone explain?. I used to have a beep beep bep on my beemer long beep = you about to hit with this car no noise just diagrams. Is it possible to add audio to the system??

I went to a meet couple of months ago and whilst it was predominantly populated with IS owners they were very welcoming to me and seemed genuinely concerned that there weren't more RX and other models' owners getting involved with the meets. I like the fact that we are one big club with some differences in models and mods etc but we do have a lot in common as well and we should be proud of that.

Thank you for organising a great day! It was good meeting the members and putting names to nicknames/avatars! Extra thanks to the brilliant Mr Morse for helping me to 'paint my wagon'!
