  1. Have put a deposit on the Woodford car, didn't want to miss out for the sake of a few quid. Have done so on a refundable basis and on the condition that in my eyes, it's mint. Fingers crossed it as should b / I hope it will be as I won't be stumping up if it isn't! away this weekend so will have to go down next - could be a long 10 days!

  8. Well I didn't want to say as I didn't want to jinx it until it was a done deal but I've paid the deposit to secure it now so it's going no where. I managed to get the exact car I want: Blue, IS300H F-Sport, Premium Nav and Full Leather 65 plate, 7K miles on the clock form a Lexus dealer so Warranty, Assured etc. all in for £27,147 Personally I think this is a good deal and worth the money.

  11. I think your right in saying they have dual mass flywheels. The garage inspected the flywheel when the box was out of the way to put the clutch in and said it was okay, didn't seem to have any wear / no need to change. Haven't had any problems from not replacing it.

  13. I just buy the cheapo flat blades from ebay now and change then annually. They work really well, but on my wife's RX I left the auto wiper function on and the car was frosted and ripped one when they went off - no great loss at a few pounds, plus I keep a spare set in the boot (year old ones). I bought expensive silicon rubber blades for my LS once, but couldn't get on with them as I had to turn off wipers as soon as water cleared otherwise they squeaked terribly. Pete

  14. Small update, I have had a full correction detail done on the car from Ed at Devine Detail. He does amazing work! Full picture story of the detail here. He's based in Coulsdon. Let me know what you think! I think it's a real transformation. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105375-one-seriously-swirled-black-lexus/#entry1580482
