  1. my baby BBW LS ;) passed MOT today with advisory on two tyres. 236k and she is still going strong. when MOT tester looked at mileage his jaw just dropped... his exact words were " 236k miles and look at this beauty, this is what you call Lexus " and I couldn't resist saying not just lexus mate... its Lexus LS :)

  2. I doubt they would produce an IS300h in mesa red with Red leather interior. My Mesa Red has the Black leather. A white IS300 with red leather looks superb imho!! How do you know red leather is not liked? In our street loads of people have Evoques. Most of them are white or Red. The amount of Red cars on the Lexus site is no indication of popularity. You could just as easily come to the conclusion they are more popular because the sell quicker so less available!! Ed

  4. Certainly I have had rattles, which come and go. I find them entirely unpredictable. I must say I'm having a good run currently. My main one actually came from above but specifically just left of the clock. One day, counter-intuitively, instead of trying to hold the padding down, I kind of held it up. The rattle has never been as bad since. Now, about that one, I have to say I always perceived it as much further left than it actually was - initially I thought it may even be coming from the passenger door or mat. It seems mad, but it's worth being absolutely sure what seem to be distinct rattles are not in fact the same one (noting, ahem, that men are genuinely worse at picking up the origin of sounds than women...) I also have a definitely distinct one which comes and goes above the steering well, but a quick slap soon sorts it! So, overall, I'm okay. I do find I can't travel with a jacket or coat hanging in the back - too annoying! So it must be pretty quiet!

  6. The seller certainly doesn't appear to have a very good command of the English language. (But then, he probably isn't English!) Unfortunately, our vehicles are now falling prey to the lower elements of society, who know nothing (and much less care) about them. This is borne out by the number you see turned into - or treated as - racing cars. The same thing happened with Mk2 Granadas some 15 years ago. Once the book value drops below a certain threshold, it becomes inevitable.

  7. I think you will find just switching the front is a no-no, in slippery conditions, the rear will break away very easy, as the front will grip harder than the rear, have a look on you tube.

  8. RC-F. Its like the IS-F with everything turned up to 11. It is a little tight in the back, but OK for short journeys, and I've got a great new system called a Seasucker Mini-Bomber (the name alone made it worthwhile) to fit bikes on the roof. I've had more people ask me about it in 5 weeks than I had in 5 years in the IS-F

  9. I think you may have just lost any credibility you had there. Comparing a £350k engineering tour de force with a £65k GT car just demonstrates a complete lack of understanding.
