I'll be sticking around the forum, don't plan on switching cars until Feb/March so will keep an eye out for any forum members who are looking to sell around then.
This one is gorgeous, though - and has a full tank of fuel rather than the usual low fuel warning light on! I wish I had enough money to not worry about paying a silly price for it. Having said that, it might well put most secondhand £13,000 Audis and Mercs to shame.

The clicking thing would seem to indicate the battery has had it.
Thats the first thing i'd look at.Especially as it's potentially 8 yrs old.
While your at it get a couple of spares for your key fob. Easily got from Ebay. As you've only just taken ownership you're not going to know how old the fob batteries are. Pop a sticker in there with a date on it then you always know the facts. The fob battery will last typically a couple of years
