Spending a lot of time on the uk lotus forum has paid off! MY2012 evora s sports racers are not that common at all. Especially low milers with the colour combo a person wants. White was my second choice but the seats are such a lovely colour and make the red/black/white colour theme work superbly. I also wanted the red callipers, suede interior and manual box. I was very fortunate when a forum member let me know if a car be was trading in for a evora 400. I contacted the dealer and agreed a deal before it even went on the market. Deposit down and I collect the car on the 21st November. It's going to be a very long wait....

Phwoar! Thought you was going to keep the ISF a bit longer but i completely understand that its difficult find the car you want in that color combo/spec etc. Looking forward to more pics when you get her!

I absolutely will as soon as I get the paperwork - it was all being sent directly to the garage (and I've told them to keep everything).

. My car is the same. There is also a louder noise emanating from the booster seat in the back.

I am on my second IS300h and this one is a much smoother quieter ride than my first. Since the weather has got colder I can hear the creaking type noise by my right ear which goes if you drop the window a couple of millimetres. This is the same as my first car which I improved by putting a silicone spray on the door seal and glass runners. The annoying noise in my left ear is still there. Unless I leave her home.

A couple of time when the kids have opened the boot I've had a heart attack thinking the boot is going to go through the rear screen.

Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I've been reading through the old threads in the ISF section over the past few days. Part of me is still tempted to stick a bid in for the ex humberside one on eBay despite the potential niggles. Clearly I'm not right in't head :outforcount:

If I live to be 150 I will never like that frontage. To me it looks out of balance with the rest of the cars sleek flowing lines. Mike.

breaker yards are not the place to go for lexus stuff, parts are hard enough to get from shops themselves without resorting to importing.
