Hi all, back from holiday and just saw an extended video where Lexus show off there hoverboard and then jump off what i believe is the new GS-F

You won't be disappointed reeves1985. I went in looking for an IS250C @ 4 years old and was smitten with the F Sport ! A friend has a white one and that looks great too. A bit lumper than my RX but what do I expect? A fantastic car to drive and you'll love driving it especially in sport mode ! I make any excuse up to go for a drive these days. Just a shame that do not do an IS C any longer though. If they combined a C with an F Sport then..................mmmmmm

I've gone and done a very dangerous thing. I've booked a test drive in a Tesla S on Saturday via the Westfield showroom. Haven't told the missus yet, I mean it is only a test drive....

Speed cameras on the motorways are always obvious as they give plenty of visual warning. You just need to get your eye adjusted to what they look like .....smallish oblong pillar at roadside and its facing you head on. Its the hand held radar traps out on the ordinary roads that catch people as there is no warning at all. Likewise, I always use cruise on the autoroute....its better for mpg anyway.

Looks like another Mark IV as gone to the breakers yard ,apart from the body damage the car was flooded with seawater.Terrible end for any Lexus.

1 - yes it's 2015. Not sure if you realised but the RX450h has been out for 6 years and a new RX is coming out this year so we aren't talking about a new car here. 2 - the 450h does not suffer from these battery problems. I've left my car for 4 weeks every winter for the last 3 years and it starts fine. 3 - you're plucking figures out of the sky. The 400h wasn't anywhere near the region of £50k, the current RX is and its the most reliable car in its class - period - no ifs no buts, it just is. If there was a major issue, we'd know about it as Lexus sells 100k RXs annually in the US alone

This isn't a specific vehicle issue, it is part of the 400h design. Due to the fact that the hybrid doesn't need a large battery Toyota took the decision to use a very small battery to save weight, space and cost however the standard draw from the alarm etc. means the vehicle cannot stand for as long as other models before the battery goes flat. The Gen II Prius suffers the same way.

Watch from 7mins 15 secs in. I'd caution that care is required, but you clearly know what you are doing........ :) o hth
