I reckon Mike and I are the two most traditional guys on this forum (some people might say boring old f&rts)..........but the Lexus, as it comes out of the box, is just perfect.
If you wanted the boy racer look you should have bought the is200 (probebly the worst lexus ever made in my opinion) as I know alot of people do stupid things to make it stand out. Unless you want to go for a proper vip look on the ls430. But you may have to spend thousands on it
Hi Malc
Belt is original: covered 72,000 miles. No cracks to teeth, as mentioned shiny with shadow or imprint of teeth on the flat outside surface.
Some pics attached for you.
Is this what you expected?
Simon
Thanks for taking the time to do this Rayaans. My IS300h is still around 3 months away so I am vicariously experiencing it through others till mine arrives :-(
Good review and I agree with most points.
I'm pretty sure the leather is mostly leather in the UK though. Nuluxe is for the US market. Some panels might be fake leather (I think my door panels are) but pretty sure my seats are leather, the car smells nice enough. I'd expect the premier to be too.
I've got an RX300 SE-L with air suspension and the tyre fitters have never had to do anything about it, I also recommend the Michelin Latitude tyres, they're great
Get a grip man! - Is it too late to remark that the timing belt on one of these highly thought of (& highly Toyota, despite the badge), beasties can be changed in twenty minutes?
