Took my 51 reg 116k RX in for its mot this morning - straight through, no advisories!

I'm not certain Michael, but it is my opinion that the NCD is specific to that particular policy and the vehicle insured there. My wife is named as a driver on my policy and when she had a claim on her own policy, I declared it and it didn't affect the NCD on my policy. I would be very surprised if it had a knock on effect to your other policies.

My wife officially owns our IS300H and it's her daily car, she loves it. I wanted her to buy a V6 supercharged Jaguar XF, she told me where to go....More recently I tried to persuade her to think about what swapping the IS300H for a Tesla, again she told me where to go She also think car forums are a waste of time, Apple products are a rip-off, was able to proof read my 40,000 word doctorate thesis in one sitting and stick wires into peoples hearts whilst they are having a heart attack on a daily basis. So she's generally far more intelligent and sensible than me, and in her view the IS300H is fab, she cannot see any reason for her to change cars for a long time yet :D

Not entirely sure but you should retain your individual policy NCD on the other 2, you are right to declare it to the other insurers. What may happen is the premiums may increase.

The coolant bottle should have 2 markings on it cold and hot and the levels should be at those marks respectively. You should never open the cap when the engine is warm as the system pressurizes and you could be scalded. With the engine completely cold top up the coolant to the cold line and replace the cap then check the coolant is at the hot line with the engine fully warmed up i.e. the temperature gauge at the normal midway position. Nearly forgot welcome to the LOC.

i had some carbon vinyl.. so i added some to the lower lip of the bumper.. i seen it on a C63 and it looked good,.on white, only diff is the C63 had it painted on the bumper and it was gloss black. anyway now that i put it on i get this boy racer feel when i look at it lol.. your opinions would be great.

It took me about 4wks of fiddling with the seat before I was happy, and I did have some pain to begin with, but that was down to my body adjusting to the new seat and position. Now it is perfect. Benefit of Premier is you have 3 memory positions for the seat. I set mine up as close as I got to fully comfortable and then set it to 1, then if I got a bit of pain, I adjusted till I was comfortable then set to 2 and so on...... Now I have my perfect seating position. Need to wear it in like a new pair of shoes!

I'd be surprised if you cannot get to a position that is comfortable. With the premier you have control over the front and back of the seat base, try tilting either the front or the back down a little to see if that improves things.

I am the same height Ralph, but never had any problems with any of my cars EXCEPT a Mini I once hired for the weekend in 1972. The driving position was akin to that of a Bus Driver ! I have no problems with my GS450H, NOR DID i HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH the IS300H I borrowed when my car was recalled. I think that you need to test extensively the various seating adjustments which are available to you in the IS and hopefully all will be resolved. Good luck and do let us all know how you get on .
