  1. OK - this isn't too bad: Not exactly the same as the Lexus. Blade removal from the arm is pretty much exactly the same as Lexus. Rubber replacement is a bit different - Lexus rubbers involve two little teeth at one end on the metal strips as I recall, but otherwise pretty much the same. Do one blade at a time so you can check assembly on the complete one if you get confused!

  2. Here's how to get the blade off the arm. It's not absolutely exactly the same as the IS but close. It shows replacement before removal, but keep watching! Still looking for a useful vid on the actual rubber replacement!

  3. If somebody is tailgating you, you have no idea why they are doing so. They may just be impatient, or you may be driving well below the normal traffic flow, or they may even be trying to get to a hospital or other emergency. Whatever the reason, you can either ignore them, or move out of their way when it is safe to do so. If you are really concerned about their driving, then move over (when safe), make a note of their registration number and report them to the police. Taking vigilante action (whether it's braking hard, speeding up and slowing down, spraying them with windscreen wash or whatever) is stupid, childish and potentially dangerous - and is frankly the behaviour I might expect from drivers of Saxos and Novas with stupidly large exhausts, rather than Lexus drivers.

  4. I know you've probably sorted it out by now, but I paid £7.99 for 1 ltr from Lexus. I think I was quoted £40 for 5 ltrs, so basically the same per litre.

  5. Hi, I come from the Toyota forums and have heard alot about this. There are many topics regarding the Hybrid Pruis and people doing this. I have heared horror stories and would say do not do this. Hybrids are not made to do jump starting and doing so apparantly 'frys the electrics' and does something to the Hybrid battery which causes it to fail with all dahsboard lights comming on. You can check out the Toyota Owners club forum and you will find it in the Prius section.

  6. If you brake (not "break") hard without due cause, it could easily get you done for Driving Without Due Care And Attention or even Dangerous Driving, so if the person behind you has a dash cam and can show that there was no good reason for your actions, it would be very much your problem! Do you also have blue flashing lights and a siren on your car when you're trying to impose your views on other road users?
