  1. There used to be a local dealer who had the habit of listing all his stock cars on fleabay for a pound ( obviously avoiding fees) then as you read the listing they were of course at retail prices. Passing by one day I casually walked into the showroom, slapped a pound coin down on his desk and said "That's for the Vauxhall Astra on the forecourt advertised on fleabay for a pound could I have the V5c please?" The look on his face was worth its weight in gold as he stuttered and tried to explain. Haven't seen one from him since :)

  2. If the volume display is not changing on the head unit display when the control is operated it could also be a fault with the head unit, check all applicable fuses 1st then go from there. Another thing to try is disconnect the battery +ve for a short while to see if this resets the audio system but make sure that you have any required security codes to hand that may need putting in.

  4. As I have the Mark Levison, if the Amp is not working then I loose the full sound. Maybe you have a blown fuse - That's what I would check first - Read you manual to see what fuse to check or you can see under the drivers knee area where the fuses are to see which one is blown, sorry I dont have exact location.

In the boot you will see under the mat on the right hand side is the amplifier for the ML see if you have any loose connections. I had lots of shopping that was pushing on the amplifer so no sound...Took shopping out and all was working fine.

  6. Seriously guys this is getting to complicated, what's wrong with the way it was designed, if all you want is a quick track car why didn't you buy a track car, I believe you can over think these issues to the point of ocd, and there are very few cars to beat the sc and all the time and effort for maybe 1 second doesn't sound good sense to me, but am I missing the point of why you feel the need to do all these alterations. Best regards john

  8. It is recommended that the engine ECU is reset after any engine performance modifications have been made to the vehicle, including using a higher octane fuel, to accelerate the learning of any new parameters. Resetting the ECU will also clear any stored error codes, however if you have a fault with your vehicle it is advisable that these codes are retrieved rather than wiped as they may help in diagnosing the problem. Make sure the ignition is turned off Remove the engine bay fuse box cover Remove the 20Amp/25Amp EFI fuse Remove the 15Amp ETCS fuse Wait 30 seconds Re-insert the two fuses Install the fuse box cover It is also possible to reset the engine ECU by removing the battery. Please note that this method will also reset any memory settings such as radio presets, trip mileage, clock etc. For hybrid models please seek further information
