  1. This happened to me recently, but third party was at fault. We sorted it all win your getting insurance involved....I thought even if you don't make a claim the insurance company will record it as an accident on your records, and bump up your re-newal costs?

  2. 'Worth' is a relative term. In this country we seem to have totally accepted the fake hypothesis that cars should depreciate rapidly. Is it only 'worth' £1900? Of course not. With all the quality we know it has? Cars don't lose their value in Europe half as much (that's a metaphor; I'm don't KNOW it's 50% less!) Certainly in the warped marketplace we have in UK, it costs less. In a sensible world it's 'worth' every penny-as we know. I'm sure we can find lesser cars at the same price? And, who knows, maybe the prices will join the collectors market. For instance, a Citroen DS23 is 'worth' a min of -say - £20K. Is it a better car? Of course not. And it may be that gradually Ser 4 cars become 'worth' more again as we recognise their rarity.

  3. if they actually did anything technical on the service that would be a good reason to go main dealer but the fact is they really are only changing fluids. The 10k service for £245 gives you an oil and filter change and an air con filter change. They have a look at the discs/pads, tyres, lights and wiper blades and fill up your washer fluid. A quick check to make sure they won't get sued because the floor mats are in the wrong place and a £5 car wash. I always find it funny when people state their car is running better after a service.
