  2. I'd do them with a brush. Do the tyres too so they match.

  3. Once you have had the car for a few days the button positions are irrelevant. The car becomes part of your body you become part of the machine... Seriously I don't find it a problem I just feel them and I know which is which, they are in easy reach so its just a job of familiarisation. If you find them a problem don't try for a pilots license. As for the arial I think its retro .... If it was fitted to a mini they would charge extra for it.............

  5. Mike, In my case, it was Triumph Spitfires and Morris Oxfords. I lost count of how many times I stripped and rebuilt the engines over a weekend. There was always the odd nut or washer left over.......but they started :) I feel sorry for the youngsters nowadays because everything is sealed and costs money to fix. When I first got the LS 400 it just looked and felt right. The longer I had it, the more I realised how great it was. They built it right and there was no need to change it. Now I have the 460 and I feel the same. Unfortunately, mine came with 19" wheels and I'm going to change that to the originals. As many people here have said - Lexus spend a lot of time and money in their quest for perfection.

  6. Its strange but for those of you that were alive in the 50s and 60s er had Morris Minor 1000s, 100E Ford POPs, E93A Ford Pops, Ford Anglias, Mk 1 Zodiacs, Ford Cortinas Mk 1s & 2s, Minis, etc they somehow do look good when tampered with but it just dosent seem to work on modern cars. Mike.

  9. I think some of the people that do these abortions have a world of there own thinking pattern .Firtly ;how is it there are only four in the world when there are thousands of LS400 and Celsiors in the four corners of the globe Secondly what makes it worth more than £2K when the inside looks like a herd of cows have camped overnight and the oustide looks like they ran over it. This guy needs to get real and will probably find another classic car to ruin and scrapped this one.
