  1. My indy operates from a back street lock-up in a not very salubrious part of Kent .......... BUT he is brilliant at what he does, low overheads means low on-pricing to me and at £30 per hour with no vat coz his turnover is so low, keeps my Lexus and my other car in fine fettle. Which cars he has now been keeping well and happy for me for just 7 years now, ever since I found him ..................... he's MAGIK Looks aren't everything, it's the quality of the output that counts.......... just about to pop that pack of beer in the car for his Xmas pressie Malc

  2. Unfortunately I cant collect until next thursday, cant wait to pick her up! Ive been looking for some time, and finally found what I was looking for, which was mainly one with an LSD, still in lexus warranty. Looking forward to it after coming from Honda Integra Type R's, several high powered RWD Jap cars, BMW M cars to this.. The Lexus Reliability is what pushed me towards the IS-F, particularly as it seems the later ones with the LSD are more of a match for the M3 driving experience. 2011, Slate Grey IS-F, Near Flawless condition, 22k miles or so, chuffed to bits!

  4. Looks like they tried to cross a LS with a X-type and ended up with a guppy. I guess the engineers of Gloucester were good at plane design, but had their eyes poked out when it came to cars.

  5. Absolutely awful! Bit of a travesty really as we all know that these cars have a subtle beauty all of their own.

  6. A bloke at tech in the late sixties had a big soft top Allard complete with dicky seat, they were banger money back then, and not that rare a sight on the roads. There was a thread on pistonheads about the Lexus abomination back in 2007, there's a pic of a different car about 13 posts in. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=478251 This looks like the car the lad at tech had, it looked slightly better with the hood down, but not a lot!

  7. Well I bided my time, checking the trader, e bay, piston heads etc daily when all of a sudden a 460 appeared that grabbed me instantly, 2007 one owner, it was an elderly guy who unfortunately was selling because of ill health and barely used it in the past year and had decided to sell, 2007, top spec 1 owner 35k on the clock serviced to death by Lexus Cambridge, car is in showroom condition and garaged all its life, mentioned to the guy about rear entertainment system and he looked at me like I was mad and told me no one had ever sat in the back as far as he could recall, ended up getting the car for 14k, don't know if this is a decent price but everything about the car just seemed right, will try and post a couple of photos.
