  1. at last i have fixed my luggage blind i managed to cut the blind a while ago but today i bought some material to replace the whole pull out blind. its an easy job to do so dont be afraid about losing the recoil tension its easy to redo. to strip it down you only have to undo 3 screws on the drivers side of the blind,2 hold the spring loaded end cap on and the 3rd one holds the end cap with a star shape in the middle of it,when the cap with the star is remove the tension will go. the blind material is only held on with double sided tape so its easy to remove at the end of the alluminium roller with the star there is a hole i tapped this with an m6 thread about 8mm deep then fitted a allen head bolt once the new blind material has been fixed in place re-fit the roller locating the spigot in the hole put the end cap with the star in it on loosely then using an allen key rotate the bolt clockwise to tension the spring every now and then replace the end cap and check the tension once happy replace all screws jobs done

  2. Now it wasn't me who worked this out, but. Taking into account current US fuel prices, this car would have munched its way through £80,000 worth of fuel. In the good old UK £195,000..... apparently!

  3. Cheers chaps. :) Yes, managed to get the airline to check my diffuser as baggage! Lol. Splitters were also from the States, there's a group buy over on their forum. :) Weds are stunning mate! Can't wait to get them over here, and on the car. Thinking Michelin Super Sports for tyres? Tried the new Vredstein's, but only £70 cheaper than the Michelins! :( Sure thing on the H&S Charlie. :) Be around June time hopefully. My stockers will be getting sold indeed. That's my exhaust money! ;)

  4. I take a different view. I have automatic lights on all 3 of my cars and it's a facility that I have NEVER used. I switch my lights on when it gets dark, and switch them off when it gets light, or when I stop the car. Simples!
