  1. Cheers Stu. :) I think the Calipers will look ok chap. ;) Weds are gunmetal, which is the same as my OEM wheels? No need for spacers with the new wheels. ;) they have a wider offset. Will still be doing the coilovers, and carbon vented bonnet with just the vents in carbon (rest will be body colour). Also doing FIGS handling kit and the racing brake 2 piece rotors. :) Just need to rob a bank! Lol.

  2. yes i agree with nach - we know these cars can do galactic mileages - a prime example is that white LS in USA being discussed in another thread - the miles on this green one might be a bit high but aslong as the service history and miles are verifiable and as nach says the gizmos work then why not - what could possibly go wrong? - alot of car for the money

  3. I know this seller as I looked at an LS430 which he was selling a few months ago. Despite what has been said about the seller by other members on here, I found the guy to be OK but then I haven't bought anything off him. He does seem to sell both Lexus LS vehicles and used LS parts too. For £1k if the car stops, starts, goes fine, has sound mechanicals, good bodywork, good reliable electrics where everything works, and the mileage & history all OK then this could be a bargain of a car. The advert says the timing belt has only been changed twice at 60k miles and 120k miles - it will be due another belt change at either 180k miles or 4 years after the 120k change was done. Use your wits and common-sense for sure if you decide to check the car out. Make sure you try everything electrical in the car and that the paperwork all looks good. You can also veriify the mileage & MOT history yourself if you ask the seller to provide you with some information on the car Here's a link with more information https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history-vehicle The most important piece of advice I would give to anyone buying a used LS is to check all of the above things are fine and in order - good LS400s are very rare and hard to come by. I recently bought an LS430 to replace the LS400 which I sold last year after 13 glorious years of ownership. Good luck

  4. Easy peasy to get it to Buenos Aires ( ship container ) but there's zilch likelihood of getting it back to the UK easily ............. Argentina world trade has dropped off the cliff !!! Also the protocol with bureaucracy to achieve my car entrance into Argentina is a nightmare ............. not helped it might seem with dopey Clarkson's antics down south recently. The 10,000mile probable round trip thru' Argentia, up to Iguaassu, round, down to Tierra del Fuego and back again to BA will be stupendous, would be my 3rd tourist trip there ...... beautiful country, just need to do it in my Lexus really now at my age ... think the car's got slightly less arthritis than me So Route 66 seems to be the likely option tbh. ............. fingers xd Malc

  5. Lexus should buy this, run it to 1 million and then display it.

  6. If you're going to go for the ejector seat option, you'd need a car with a sunroof. I believe they are very hard to find.

  7. I think we may have known the seller tho' !!!! The car looks ok, bit odd that's someone has buggered about with the badges on the bootlid. All those leaves too in the engine bay, bit odd. He's likely a Trader ........................ you will need to check everything very very very carefully if you're tempted to buy. Malc
