I believe the salesman has misunderstood the feature. It mentions the hazard warning system but in the context of disabling the brake light flashing if the hazards are turned on. I don't believe the system turns the hazards on itself.

I agree with that in part. But the Internet has changed the way in which information is shared and distributed. I can mend and fix things thanks to the power of You Tube that I would have had to pay for someone else to do just 5 years ago. Forums such as this are also a massive source of knowledge and information based on a shared sense of community and enquiry. But I agree that there is still a space for individuals to develop and sell their expertise and knowledge. Most of us straddle both worlds maintaining an uncomfortable position! For example, I write an open blog, freely accessible to the whole world, but I also have books published under contract to major publishers sold for profit (and a small commission coming back to me eventually)!

Lexus only has a small number of NXs coming into the country this year, with each dealership getting a very small allocation. Dealers don't need to discount, they would just be given away money, as there are more potential buyers than cars available at this moment in time.

ah yes, I now see the front lower spoiler missing too .... well, tbh, I'm always bashing mine on low kerbs at the front, lost bits of it over time so really pleased it can just be taken off and binned ok. When I do I shan't bother replacing it, just to get another bashing from dopey height kerbs and the like ( nowt to do with my driving of course ) .................. OMG my car isn't perfect Malc

hi I bought flat wiper blades from ebay for my Mark 3 which lasted 3 years and were still fine untill i sold it. I have bought flat wipers again for my mark 4 from ebay costing £6/£7 for a pair and they work perfectly, smooth, quite and clean the screen very well HTH regards miq
