  1. Ok it's a model of a V8 engine but looks fun to build and no oily hands. After building this I may even do my own cam belt the next time.

  2. Funny you should ask this tonight....I was looking into this today as mine are too high after lowing it. Here's a link to the headlight pdf info: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/attachments/is-second-generation/96503d1167535457-headlight-sensitivity-is-uneven-headlight_aim.pdf In essence there's a small cog you turn with a screwdriver on the top of each headlight. As long as you just need to adjust the height I believe it's a simple as counting the turns and replicating on each side. I have read anti-Clockwise is to take the beam up and clockwise to go down. I will be doing this tomorrow all being well so can confirm it.

  3. Thanks so much. That saves a lot of time and there's no need for more comment on it. As it is a far way from me, I think I will be leaving this one for someone else.

  4. I love the idea of owning one of these in the future. Is it your first Lexus? If not, how does it compare to others you have owned?

  5. In my town there lives a gentleman who suffers from a form of sclerosis and drives around in an electrically- powered wheelchair which, to judge by its silence and acceleration, has got to be a top-of-the-range model. His main source of amusement, for which most people readily forgive him, is to startle pedestrians - especially elderly ones whom he knows to be hard of hearing - by stealthily driving up behind them. Local drivers give him a wide berth because if you overtake him (or he overtakes you) and get a scratch there is no way you will get any financial compensation. One day, I was sitting at a light when he pulls up besides me and asks me to lower my window. "F*** me", he says, "That's a quiet car. I wish I could afford one!" Could the 300h engineers ask for a better testimonial?
