  1. LOL It was me that bought P568 UFC. Timing belt and water pump already replaced (by me) :), the day I bought it I covered 600+ miles bringing it back to Ireland , the car behaved flawlessly everything works, and no blowouts in the exhaust, either that was resolved or didn't exist.. final price was £750 and a years MOT. got it as my XJ8 decided to blow its gear box.. 10 times the car that the Jag is.. Me and missus were on hols and decided to bring a car home with us...

  2. Well with any luck you both need mudflaps from different wheels positions and the price at least just halved.........anyone else need a mudflap? :winky:

  3. Readers, I bought it!. Got it for £1850 and drove nit back from Liverpool to London , without really noticing it. My first experience of driving a Lexus. Have booked it in for a cambelt replacement and full service with my trusty local mechanic next week which will set me back about £800 . There are some bits and pieces to be done ,but other than that , its a tremendous piece of kit for a 14 year old motor.

  4. I don't think any of the guys on here gave bad advice, although in these situations I'd be inclined to sell, hold on to the cash and get a nice shiny car when your better, and the car will always be associated with the time you got better...

  7. Hi Everyone, I just purchased my first IS300 and unfortunately it has a broken front grill. I am looking for a Lexus IS300 Sports Gril. Does anyone have one for sale???

  8. LS 400's as Banger racers. Makes me cringe just thinking about it. Regarding specifications, on my mk4, both mirrors fold in/out electrically and I'm sure the boot can be opened internally while the engine is running. Also, I've never found any Merc seats I've ever sat in to be as comfortable as my LS seats. (Maybe the S class is different in this respect?) They've always felt typically German to me, i.e. - a bit too much on the firm side. Would'nt mind soft-closing doors though.
