  1. Also with a tube on the spray can you could sneak it past the glass and give everything in the mirror housing a good lubricating- no dismantling!

  3. Hello all I traded in last year a low mileage RX400H limited edition 09 plate for an F-SPORTS which I love to bits. But boy is my wife still giving me grief about it she loved the other car to bits and misses it and what made it worse is I never told her I just turned up in a shiny new Lexus expecting love and joy but was greeted by where's my Lexus and i want it back, I did go back after a few weeks after hoping she would fall in love with the new car but to no avail so off I went back to lexus to buy the old car back but it had been snapped up. So if the new owner of the car reads this can I have it back pretty please or at very least send photo and letter stating she is being looked after I am fed up of looking over my shoulder for the next flying object :D also I want first dibs on buying it if you decide to sell.

  4. Yep the 430 is more luxurious inside, but the 400 for me is luxurious enough, feels like it has more space than 430. Also agree that Jags are undervalued, but not as much as the LS, and though Jag build quality improved still not IMHO up there with the LS, and the engine bays of Jags seem like a real nightmare to work on. seems like the chaps at Lexus focused on the ease of maintenance (as much as one can with a 4 litre block under the bonnet) not just making a good runner in the first place. As to the wallow, it takes a while to get used to, but when chucking around corners it seems that only M series BMW's keep up, or maybe M series drivers just know the limits of their road-holding better than your average driver! Not been in a 460, so maybe even more luxury than the 400, but until my 400 dies, do not see any reason to trade up/across. I guess like the original Morris Minor or VW camper, I think the 400 will be THE classic because it is the first of what was a new breed of engineering and design coming together. (I still remember my Grandads split screen Morris Minor with affection - and nothing else later in the Minor range ever appealed)

  5. I thought the car cover would also attract unwanted attention but so far it's been quietly left alone. I bought the cover from halfords. Was in there buying something else and it does the job, so bought it. In terms of the wax, it is a hard wax but it is fine to put on. It takes about 5-10 minutes to cure and then just a question to buff off, it comes off easily Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
