  1. I had thought the same as most clarkson followers until the point that my 95 came along at takeaway money, and since owning im hooked, its the way it just wafts until ya boot it,then all large objects in the rear view mirror become very small very quickly with what seems like no effort, and all this is done with nearly 190,000 on the clock :-)

  2. I like the review but I'm with you on 4 doors. 2 doors are a PITA in car parks.

  3. Will do. This is the modification so far, crusty lower cat flanges cut out,6mm plates fabricated and welded to cat and next pipe.now a face to face fit with just a smear of exhaust sealer,no more chuffing from there now :-) but has accentuated the slight blow from o/s egr pipe which has a slight fracture in it ! that will be the next mission.

  4. I had to laugh when my dealer said that there were only 170 coming into the country for 2015 and you had better get your order in quick. Then when I said as they only managed to sell 220 ISF's in five years I'm not in any rush, he just smiled when he realised I knew what I was talking about :)

  5. Why worry about heated seats ....... when one's bum is as big as mine the lack of heat to get thru' the natural padded insulation is of little concern Malc

  6. Looking good! :) Clay is very useful for removing stubborn residue such as tar spots, tree sap etc. As Stu mentioned, NEVER use clay dry on your paintwork. Use plenty of lubrication and wipe off once you're happy all the contamination has been removed. I use Meguiar's Quik Detailer as my lubricant. You also need to fold the dirt into the clay frequently. Rubbing it over the paint can cause more issues. One chunk of clay can easily do two cars. Lastly, make sure you have an airtight box to store the clay. If you can't pinch some Tupperware from the kitchen, wrap it tightly in some cling film. Hope this helps. :)

  7. Doesn't the RCF weigh the same as our ISF? (1800 ish kgs). They have missed the point with this and gotten blinded by comparing all facets with the M4. The simple fact for me is that the build quality will be far superior and, under everyday usage, will have comparable performance. I think the RCF looks fantastic and above all it has one of the finest engines I have experienced. Oh, and it will still feel pin-sharp and be totally reliable when it is 15 years old with 150k miles on its back. The bottom line is this: how good is the ISF? Lexus don't step backwards so how good will this be?
