It's a hint from HMG that you should get out and make use of the roads :) Just come back from a road trip to Berlin with my son. Had some fun on the Autobahn, though fog and traffic combined to stop me finding the top speed... Guess I'll just have to do it again sometime..

You bet, I think its serious between the two, every time we move it next time you look its gone back there. I dont think they will come to any harm. Lexus wheelie bin for quality rubbish, could be a market there. Mike

Hi John I agree with most of what you say, yes the car did amazing before the egg hit the fan, my grumble is the cost of full service and extended warranty which only ran out by 2 months before only because they would not renew it because of age of vehicle, so they seemed happy to relieve me of large amounts of cash for what ?? to make the car more reliable ? then to try and steal it off me for £900 when in fact the suspect pump is available for a fraction of the gearbox they tried to sell me. I just feel my loyalty to the brand was repaid with a kick where it hurts.

Does anyone have a 'survivors' to ls sold in uk ratio....it would be interesting to know? I have only seen two other ls400 in dundee and around the area...I always flash my lights and usually get a wave back...ls430 owners don't usually bother!! Reading is forum and speaking to people who have owned them, they remind me of my other two loves, saabs and volvos....people keep them a LONG time....

Longlife made me a full exhaust system for my RX300 many years ago and it was well worth it.
