  1. Not a button...but I notice, unlike every car iv owned, that if I use the windscreen wash wipe with the drivers window down, no water ever comes into the cabin,.....I'm betting it's designed this way....money on it...they thought of everything else!

  4. Hi John, I have been meaning to upgrade my fog light bulbs to LED ones for a while but can't be bothered to take the whole bumper off..this really puts me off. I know that you can access the drivers side by taking off the wheel inner arch. The left is easy as you mentioned due to the hatch on the under tray. 5. I doubt it is the new battery but there's always a new faulty one somewhere, if the battery checks out OK then something is discharging it so check for things accidentally left switched on and then things like the boot light to make sure it goes off when it should. Could be a faulty alternator but you would normally get a dash warning for this, also check the battery terminals are fully tightened. If you are a rescue service member get them out, the AA and RAC will normally check for excessive current draw if a flat battery is the reason for a callout.

  6. I was listening to radio 2 today and heard an apparently true story about a customer who went to a garage to order a replacement dipstick for his car. Being an item not normally requiring replacement the garage owner asked the customer why he needed such a part. The customer replied " It is obviously worn out as it doesn't reach the oil anymore so I can't check the level"
