If you're not a motor trader then the value of any car depends on only one thing. If you are selling, then you will notice how much the value has dropped . If you are buying, then you will notice how much the value has risen. This rule generally applies to all makes and models. Another rule which generally applies relates to the timing. It is always better to buy/sell a car, Yesterday or Tomorrow.

Hi to everyone , I have a Lexus Gs 450h from 2006 and recently i changed my alloys and i tried to swap the TPMS on new alloys but one of them it was really bad corroded and it snapped so i had to source another one so i have searched everywhere to find a cheaper alternative than Lexus dealers and also to match with our European frequency 433 MHz and i have found a company called RL automotive here in UK , very friendly and helpful which sell the sensors for £58.20 each including VAT and delivery which i think is pretty decent. Here is the email between me and the sales person from there : Good morning, We have two sensors that are compatible with the GS but depending on what frequency; TCD 1204 433Mhz £44.75 TCD 7002 315Mhz £39.00 I imagine that if the car is from the UK it would work on 433Mhz but it would be best to make sure. I have no intention to post this as an advert . It is your choice if you want to ever buy the tpms from there or not . I have just tried to help others spend less money rather than pay too much at the dealers + tpms registration .

I cannot see these cars values remaining so criminally low for much longer...even a really nice ls400 is lucky to see 2k, ls430s will, I think, sink lower and lower as on these shores they are a Japanese oddity....the 400 is heading for semi classic status within next ten years I'd say....so, get me while they're hot....buy now or repent at leisure...

Mot's, receipts, anything that shows work done is a huge bonus on selling any car on, it really does help to hold the price as it obviously shows care has been lavished. I have a receipt for a tail light bulb, it's in the ls430 folder along with other stuff such as wheel alignment, aircon regass etc. All helps to beat the not so fortunate cars with poor attitude ownership.

All the features mentioned add up to exceptional pleasure of ownership, my own favourite being the two-speed window closing. The only irritating design blemish, and a surprising backwards step in respect of the 250, lies in the boot-hinges, sheathed for cosmetic purposes in unpleasantly thin and springy PVC, and with an unfortunate tendency, because of their size and geometry, to prevent proper shutting in the presence of tall bags or a full load.

Thank you Vasillis for arranging another successful meet, nice to see you all and a nice range of cars and thank you Andy for the ride in your IS-F Well I went and done it, called into Lexus Sidcup on the way home and ordered my RC-F, taking delivery in May. So what with the crispy cream donuts and the hot chocolate its been rather an expensive day. Lol.
