just a thought ........ i really ( personally ) wouldn't go down the " going to court route " ...... it really will take over your life, make you sad and unhappy ( unless you're a masochist ) and if you do eventually win, or after years the other insurers settle " out of court " you will be so relieved and really, really wish that you had settled amicably at the outset, possibly some years earlier !!! Courts are for giving the lawyers loads of dosh ..... to be avoided for your own peace of mind and sanity ! Chill out, de-stress and reflect ......... before you go hammer and tongs and headlong into that dark abyss. Malc

You'll be lucky to get an aknowledgement from Lexus UK about this............ From the Lexus US site "This cosmetic condition is corrected by replacing the affected Headlamp Housing. Due to the high cost of these repairs, Lexus has decided to provide this Warranty Enhancement Program in the interest of customer satisfaction." Its a pity Lexus UK thinks so little of customer satisfaction.........try ringing them, it'll be fun conversation I am sure!

Hello Guys. My wife and I have just got back from visiting some friends in Scotland. We left the house on Monday morning and got home on Wednesday evening after 1200 miles of trouble free motoring in the LS. According to the trip computer we were driving for just over 24 hours in those 3 days and yet we never felt uncomfortable or stressed. The Cruise Control made the trip effortless and the hills and mountains caused no problems, it was as if they weren't there. The car used £220 worth of fuel which I thought was pretty good considering that I was not trying to save fuel, I just drove to the speed limits and overtook things that got in the way. The LS is just an awesome beast Steve

I would just like to wish Tees ls430 the best of luck in a speedy resolution to returning his life to the way it was before he was the unfortunate victim of yet more careless motoring on our roads -" there but for the grace of God"as they say. And just as a side while there are no doubt some outrageous lead swingers who attempt to deceive insurance companies and cost us all more money,not every "whiplash" claim is a inflated con. In my professional capacity as a power development coach I have spent the last two years working with a sportswoman of national champion standing who suffered "whiplash" related injuries after being rear ended by a van, sadly she was not lucky enough to have been driving a lexus. Her injuries and continuing problems are beyond belief and I have never seen anyone suffering such lasting problems even including my days as an international full contact fighter and coach. I would wish you all a safe time behind the wheel and at least we have a fighting chance in our "luxury tanks"
