  1. Pre-MOT check today revealed that my rear brake discs were pretty much shot, so they were replaced along with the pads - a service item, really. I now have nice firm brakes rather than a sponge full of air. Then it went through the MOT with no advisories - that's four years in a row, I think. This hasn't happened with any other car I've ever owned.

  2. OK here's the update, I ordered 20 of each value so this will obviously make up 20 kits for the whole year series. The downside is once again one of them is on back order until 28/05/2014 ( must be heavy demand from LS400 owners!) Once they arrive I will get them sorted.

  3. Hey Guys, So finally got my hands on my tasty flat bottomed steering wheel. :) Only collected it this morning, but it's already fully installed on my baby! ;) Will do a few daytime shots as well. First impressions are very good. Feels thicker at the 3 and 9 grip positions. The material and stitching is as good if not better than the OEM one. Install took around an hour from start to finish.

  5. Probably ideal for you with your volume button issue ;) That's exactly what I'm thinking. You could just chop your feet off at the ankles?

  6. You'll have to pop over or have a look at the meet Stu is trying to arrange Andy? I'll be at the rolling road day as well chap. These are also not that unreasonable cost wise, if you can get someone to bring it over from the States for you (I go quite a lot on business). Cost me $528 which is around £320. :) The one from Sewell is $643. :)

  7. Stuart The thing you need to get used to with your Lexus is any spare part looks steep especially if you only want part of the kit, The benefit of paying that steep price is that if it is a Lexus genuine part you won't need to replace it again.

  8. Thanks Ian. :) I'll get it all typed up with some photos to add to the knowledge base. Will post it here once I'm done. :) Cheers. Peter

  9. Apparently, having spoken to the dealer again tonight, private customers like me get a full tank of fuel but fleet drivers are more likely to get a quarter to a half. I got a surprise gift from them tonight......being an avid cufflink collector/wearer they surprised me with a beautiful set of "Cross" Lexus cufflinks!
