Hi Andy, No mate not getting mine from Sewells. Using the California shop that advertises on eBay. It's a lot cheaper, but has had rave reviews from people who've bought them. I'll get plenty of pictures up when I get it in May. :) Works out around £400 or so? :) Cheers. Peter :)

I too have the Lexus iPod integration kit. As sythe says playlists are how you use it. Playlist 1 is the full content of the iPod and is always the first button on screen 1. There is no limit to the number playlists, I have 30. Navigation of lists is not easy. All that shows on screen are 6 buttons labeled 1 to 6 with no description of what they contain. So if you want list 2 of screen 3 you have to tab all the way over to it. I have a sheet of paper in the car with a descripion of the contents of each list. (I would say what my playlists are but you would laugh at them.) I have replaced the iPod with an iPhone 4 that was playing up with a faulty start button. Its locked away in the glove box and it works fine as an mp3 player or bluetooth car phone.

Thanks Barney. It is hard-earned as well, and I should be able to ask more than just 2 or 3 questions about a car. Even if it's not much money to them in profit, they shouldn't treat people that way. If I ring a seller regardless if it's trade or private, the first thing that makes me walk away is if they can't be bothered to talk to you about the car, in all probability they are not the best sort of people to spend money with in my opinion. Some of these traders seem to think you are just going to turn up and put the cash in their hand. Any decent seller would afford you their time and hopefully make you feel they are the sort of person you would wish do business with.

Thanks Steve. The whole calliper has been replaced, pins, the lot. Yeah I spoke to the guys at the dealership today about it as they were really quiet! Basically the rubber seal/boot cracks over time so letting in water and eventually they rust till they seize. The chamber the pins sits in fills up with rust so the whole calliper rusts from the inside out. That's what Lexus told me anyway so don't shoot the messenger! Lol :)

Happy Chris again! :) :) New calliper all fitted, no more siezed brakes and brake imbalance has gone. Pulls up beutifully in a straight line now. Bit of a novelty, id got used to steering left when I had to brake hard! And I got to have a go in a new GS250... Been a pretty good day :)
