Perhaps the quote includes labour. To fit a new dust cover on my LS400 was a big job requiring the removal of the hub, so I never bothered (still got it in a cupboard somewhere).
I'd buy those two, then for an extra 20 quid each, powdercoating them Black, and that way you'll have saved yourself a few bob, and doubt you'll need to replace them again, £150 quid max, and an hour and half ball park fitted.
I'm not that clued up on car brakes but is it the part on here called 'Dust Cover' (pt no 47781/2)

These seem to be priced up at $52.98 and I can't see there being such a big difference twixt US and GB prices.... so maybe I got the wrong part

If this is not a mistake at the parts dept, they must be having a laugh.
If not, it's another Lexus rip off.
Why have they failed? I have a 1990 merc 230e, the backplates are still good.
On my LS one side rusted through and I repaired it, told no longer available, but still
some in Japan and the USA.
Overpriced for inferior quality!
what type of front fog light bulbs do the is200 uses? i like to upgrade them. i quite like the yellow front fog lights on the IS300 are they just yellow bulbs?
just that i looked on a PIAA usa site that states its 9006, the UK PIAA site dont even list the IS200/300!
is a 1999 is200 auto, speaking of auto few people say front fog lights on auto are prone to problems or something?? so are fornt fog lights on manual is200 different from auto then?
