Hi all I haven't got a car yet but looking hard to find myself a mint IS200 in manual. I was wondering what kind of money they fetch and if anyone on here is selling one? Cheers. Sorry if this is in the wrong place

Adrian Flux use a company called Premium Credit if you want to take out a payment plan with an APR of 42% or a £20.00 "admin" charge for even paying it over 2 months it is a rip off. A-Plan charge 12% APR so certainly a lot cheaper. I think this Owners Club Discount is also a bit of a con, I'v asked for it after being given a quote to then be told it was already included even though I didn't mention I was a club member beforehand. It's like the TV ads with sales offering UP TO 60% discount,that means the discount varies from ZERO up to 60%,looks like it's the same with insurance discounts. Adrian Flux were a little put out when I cancelled the policy renewal and tried to charge me for 2 days cover until I pointed out the 7 day cooling off period for any contract not signed at the company's premises but the guy was adamant I would be charged initially. Just waiting for my £20.00 shopping voucher from Adrian Flux now for finding not only a cheaper quote but with a lower excess and increased mileage allowance :)

If you have to replace tyres all round it can get expensive, I'm thinking of replacing my rears which are currently 215/45/17 with what I understand to be the correct rear size of 225/45/17 but want to get my wheels powder coated first. Unfortunately my rear self leveling headlight sensor packed up recently so that was just over £400 fitted at Lexus Bristol, so my plans have been set back somewhat, plus I need to sort out an annoying knocking noise which both Lexus and my mechanic friend can't get to the bottom of. Frustrating, but such is life!

Fitted a timing belt kit on it starts great now. It had jumped 2 teeth, the tensioner had collapsed and was wearing/burning the belt as well as trying to push it off the pulley because of the angle at which it collapsed at. Have been lucky. Glad it turned out alright and hopefully ill be keeping it for a long time

i dont have the nav on mine but i could transfer them BUT only 1 contact at a time when i had my mercedes you could transfer the whole phonebook in one go, the lexus audio / phone is a right pain if you go through the setup menu you will come across phonebook ,then add a contact you then need to give them a voice tag to identify the number transfered i think the car can only store about 20 numbers so you wont get all your contacts on there. for any number that you haven't been able to store then you have to dial from your phone to connect again with the mercedes there is a full numeric pad so dialing a number is easy.

Hi, I have tried without success to download the contacts from two Blackberrys onto my car. I have the full factory Nav system with more screen features for phone than you would see on the radio display in your car, and still I have been unable to do anything. I had partly put down to my phones are company ones which automatically default to password protect due to information on there and given up. I have had to load manual contacts onto the phone screen, but it don't know if you can do that without having the full Nav. option. It's the first car that I have had that I haven't been able to make it work, some colleagues have had a few issues but I have always found a workaround. Interesting to see if anyone does have a solution.
