  1. Interesting ebay name.... When selling cars and call yourself 'whatsthatnoise' doesn't sound very promising

  2. Welcome aboard Robert, I'm afraid it's not possible to fit an earlier unit as the wiring is different.

  5. Anyone by chance have a wiring diagram or know what may be needed to rewire my rear inner trunk tail lights to be turned on with a switch? I would prefer not to add an ugly rear light hanging at the bottom of my bumper. Thanks! Looking to do something like this.... saw this on clublexus.com

  7. I think the colour makes me sick well before the toes curl. I am not so sure about the bodged look with the exposed rivets, but then maybe this is Redneck engineering at it's best!!!

  8. Another point worth noting is that if the tilt motor starts playing up it may be worth checking your battery. In my case the battery was on its last legs. As soon as I replaced the battery it started working again fine! So worth checking Barry

  9. All references to left and right are taken from the driver's point of view siting in the driver's seat looking forwrd be it a LHD or RHD. So right engine bank is the intake side where the throttle body etc is located. I recently fitted 2 new O2 sensors and used cheapo ebay universal replacements which involves a little wiring ( joints included) to the original loom and plug. You need to get as much height as possible to get to the sensors but no special tools are required. The connector plug is a little awkward to release but once this is done I used a 22mm ring spanner (push the plug through it 1st) to release the sensor then unscrew by hand. The new sensors are coated with anti seize compound but you need to align the threads very carefully when refitting i.e. make sure the sensor is square to the hole and only finger tighten until established. As I mentioned I used universal sensors so you will need to cut off the original plug and fit this to the replacement, ferrules and heat shrink sleeving is supplied ( you will need a crimping tool), The instructions also provide the wire colours from OEM to the replacement. It took me about an hour to do both on mine.

  10. Well, it's 2 days old and I'm over the moon. The stunning white with the LEDs is turning heads everywhere I go. The interior is well set and the exterior is .....well I'm lost for words.....truly exciting. The BMW 320 does not even compare. Well done Lexus@HedgeEnd for your great customer experience once again. I have had the IS 200 and IS 250 over the last 10 years.... Just gets better. The LFA display is stunning and when in Sport Mode ( just testing ) the energy delivered is strong. Loving the overall experience.
