  3. Insurance Companies have always been a law unto themselves, unfortunately, they are a necessary evil, I have no "loyalty" to any of them, I get the cheapest deal I can squeeze out of them every year when my policy comes up for renewal.

  4. That's what I told them when my MK2 was vandalised to write-off status. Cost £5k minimum to sort out with the body damage. They couldn't find one the same mileage and condition and paid me a premium, quite modest really, over the " best value " of a Mk2 at that time. I could have kept them talking / negotiating forever over it all BUT in the end I wanted another LS400. I was happy'ish,......... bought ACLexs Mk3 off here ( probably one of the very best Mk3's at the time available ) and pocketed £500 cash. Malc

  5. Hi and welcome. First place to look when something electrical is not working is fuses and relays. Rule the simplest things out first :)

  6. LSD is Limited Slip Differential, my car has a mechanical one, the older models had an electronic system that worked in a similar way but aren't as effective. Still if you aren't going to be at the ring every other weekend, you probably won't even notice it! The upgraded stereo features are awesome though, but you can get an aftermarket kit to do that job anyway. I reckon if you play the long game you could barter quite a bit of money off that asking price.

  8. Very many thanks for all your kind messages of condolence and special thanks to janey for organising flowers on behalf of LOC; they were on-show at the crematorium then the following day we took them to Felixstowe Cemetery and placed them on the family plot. The funeral service was totally befitting for the selfless and very fondly thought of man that Tony was. His immaculate TTE Supercharged IS200 SE was parked proudly in his memory 'front and centre' of the entrance for all to admire as they arrived. After the service the subsequent gathering at the Oyster Reach, Ipswich, was a wonderful event that gathered many of Tony's friends and family together to share their memories of him and enjoy looking at countless photos from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Happier days. As an enduring memory to all his friends of the LOC community, I have posted this photo of Tony with his pristine T90 OSE; a photo taken by our Mum circa 2004/5. Tony Goose 10 Jul 1966 - 9 Mar 2013 May he live on in the memories of all who knew him or were so fortunate to have met him.

  10. Well no I didn't have a go but I did reverse park on a steep hill last night (clutch stank afterwards!) and today the judder has gone! So to get rid if the clutch judder on a IS200 just burn the clutch for a bit! Lol...
