Help...single Owner Ls400 30,000 Miles 1994

I have no idea what to do with my Dad's cherished Lexus LS400 ,with 30,000 on the clock which he can no longer drive .I may have to sell it , sadly, but have no idea what it's worth . It is immaculate and flew through an MOT recently. Somebody offered me £1000, instinctively this seemed very little. I do not want to get the most possible , just a reasonable price for this lovely car which drives beautifully. Before I advertise it can anybody give me a clue what it is reasonably worth please ?

Welcome to the LOC, you may not be aware as a new member that you need to be a GOLD member to offer items for sale and in a round about way you are advertising your Dad's car.

When it comes to value it's not so much what it is worth but how much some one will actually pay for it.

My own imported 1994 LS400 was recently involved in an acident and after a bit of negociating I took 2K in setlement and retained the car which has now been repaired and returned to the road, mine has covered 75,000 miles and is also in good condition.

I would advertise it starting at the same amount and see how it goes, if it has full service history and as good as you say it should sell no problem. I take it it's a one owner example?
