the trip to the ring this past easter was fantastic weekend

but with the snow it left us short of the proper ring experience

so does anyone fancy doing it again :D

starting point is when ?

Why not just combine the Euro meet in July with a Ring visit? They aren't far apart.

good idea the ring is open all day sunday...........and monday evening...........

evening sessions are generally much quieter than weekends - and will seem deserted compared to Easter...

Would love to go to another one :D Im away 19th July till 2nd August, getting more time off work around this time might not be poss as others at work might be off to :duh:

i was thinking more August/September time

seen a few members mention it

imho ....i think the ring trip needs to be a dedicated trip, combining it with the Euro meet will lessen both trips

evening sessions are less busy for the fact less people can make them, and are only open for a few hours, so people are less willing to travel for them

I'll prob be up for this, have to save some money, phone bill just came through today for the last trip!

I'd quite happily go August, September is a no no though,

Ring over jae everytime i'm afraid.

Edt: Bazza, no it wouldn't i'd end up banged up from killing her for whinging, she's completely uninterested in the car or anything to do with cars.

Roughly how much was the overall cost for your trip? I would really like to go.

If you go with a mate or anyone from Loc that want to 1/2 the costs :D

Very Rough guide to prices

Hotel (room for 2) £120-£150 if you book early

Eurotunnel £150

Ferry £60-£100 depending when you book

Petrol £300 ??

Ring Fees £15 per lap

Food, Drink, (plus Alcohol) £150 ?? (all depends on hard you party really)

All prices approx.

Plus if you share a car/room with a mate or LOC member you can cut Petrol/Room/Ferry costs to a large extent.

Best of luck on this one Guys & Gals, was a great trip barring the weather, but no cash for another holiday

or ring trip this year I'm afraid. :crybaby:

We have to remember that if the pound continues to weaken against the euro, it's going to make future ring trips much more costly.

Ahh but still seriously worth it :winky:

I may be able to make it as me and 2 of my friends where thinking of doing a bit of a euro teip around this time so they may be up for this and then i can spread the cost 3 ways ..... good times!!

Going to see if my other half would like to go this time? so might make it a bit of a holiday out of this one and stay a few days if i can get the time off and some money sorted out :whistling:
