Profile not picked up, driving assist
Hi everyone so I’ve had my RX 450H+ for a few weeks now so here goes with a few questions which I suspect have been raised before. I like the car, but I don’t love it. It seems there is no get in and go. To avoid T&C’s popping up every time I have to log into the app on my phone., get in, power up and wait maybe 20-30 seconds for it to load my settings. There was even one time when I could not even select my profile! Then I go to driving assist to switch most of the functions off so I’
2006 RX350 Transmission - Independent garage
Hi, I have a 2006 RX 350 (not hybrid) with c75k miles on the clock. I've had it for a couple of years of trouble-free motoring. However, it has now gone on strike. I'm no mechanic, but I'm pretty sure that if the car insists on moving forwards when reverse gear has been selected, there's a problem with the auto transmission. Does anybody have recommendations for a trusted independent garage to fix it, in the North West London (Uxbridge-Watford- Ruislip) neck of the woods, that would be
Carrying a bike
Roof racks seem to be available in UK but has anyone thrown a bike in back. Front wheel off.
Look for deals on the New RX450h+
Hey, I am upgrading from my 2023 ES to the RX450h+. I looked at carwow and currently there is a 4k deposit contribution with 1.9 apr for deal going on on the premium plus. There is another 4700 dealer discount which makes the over all discount of around 12% on the 69k list price. It looks like a pretty good deal and was just wondering if anyone else has anything better offered?
LS400
My son's looking to buy an Ls400 in Dubai and adverts are coming up for "Short or Long" versions. I assured him I'd never heard of them and it must be the Dubizzle a popular website and app over there, giving people false options in the advertising process. So imagine my surprise when he send me this, This is probably the only example in whole world of long wheelbase Lexus LS400. Modification was made after car left production line but there is no doubt that it
Front Suspension Shock Struts
At 24 years and 200K miles the car has developed a 'creak' from the front nearside suspension. I think it is the shock absorber because when I switch the suspension to 'sport' the creaking stops. There appears to be three choices for a replacement. 1. Genuine Lexus from Lexus Parts Direct at £1,352 2. eBay genuine Chinese copy at £179 3. Second hand at ? Does anybody have experience of the Chinese copies?
