Longevity we take for granted.
Reading some of the contributions on the forum it amazes me how we now take for granted the years we own these masterpeices.I have owned two for a total of 30 years and counting. I think the most I owned any of my previous cars was two years apart from the cars mentioned in a earlier post I had company cars for 22 years but non of them more than two years. the improvement in those bog standard BMC and Ford models over that time was snail pace and so was the quality ,I can remember bei
Mercedes to Lexus
Having been a Mercedes driver since 2014 I have just ordered an NX450h+ Takumi in Terrane Khaki with Hazel interior. I reasoned that the hybrid technology by Lexus along with their customer service would be superior to the Mercedes version also the interior of the NX is amazing. I have at the moment a Mercedes GLC300 48V mild hybrid that does drive nicely and has been very reliable so let’s hope I have made the right decision. I have to say the NX does drive nicely and I decided on the Taku
Wobbly quarter panel help!!
Okay so I bought a used nx300h sport 2017 from a Toyota dealership. It’s a joy to drive and generally in good shape BUT I noticed something quite horrendous the quarter panel has a gap and when you press the panel it goes in and out unlike the other side where it’s rightfully glue. Can you please guide me, the rear light also looks like it’s popping a bit from the edge of the plastic (I care less about this as it’s not something noticeable). According to dealership when I bought it they said it
Energy indicator screen
I have a GS450h and I run the car with the energy screen on most of the time. In the space of 30 minutes the Battery level indicator goes from 5 blue bars down to one purple bar and will then go back up again, when its showing one bar only then it stays in engine running mode, above 2 purple bars it runs in hybrid. Is this usual? If not, anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks
