Hi I need help I have a 2002 is200 I've recently had cam belt and water pump done car has been running fine till I put it in reverse and it started shuddering and the eml was flashing,

It will drive fine for a bit then starts to shudder I've changed plugs air filter and coil pack and even throttle body to no afect the only report coming up is o2 sensor can any one help??

My is200 is juddering after about ten to 15 mins of driving the eml flashs at me wen it is doing this but is constant wen not juddering it judders worst wen in drive or reverse I've had a O2 sensor report on it for a bit but it has only just started to judder I have been told that my cats are starting to crumble can any one help?

There you go then, until the O2 sensor fully warms up the engine will run open loop, if the O2 sensor is faulty which the code says it is it may then provide duff fueling data when it begins to operate after 5 -10 mins.

Buy a reputable O2 sensor like NGK or Denso and replace it.

Yes it's the 02 sensor. The cars even trying to tell you this with the fault code. It's goosed needs changing.

Your car is shuddering because the 02 sensor regulates the air/fuel ratio into the engine. Now if the 02 sensor is broke, it can't adjust air fuel ratio correctly so your car will judder it's either getting not enough fuel or too much or not enough air or too much.
