Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone has fitted 235/60/16 tyres instead of the usual 225/60/16 on the oem alloys? What difference will they make to the ride/mpg? Thanks in advance. Tarun

I fitted wider tyres on another vehicle. They'll help the ride as there will be a bit more sidewall but it may only be a small difference. Most noticeable aspect of wider tyres will be the handling.

Bear in mind your car will travel 40mm further on each revolution of the wheel, affecting speedometer accuracy. 55 profiles are nearer the right diameter.
