Tyre Monitors And The Mot

I'm not sure if this matter has been raised before. I spotted it this morning.

Interesting, I didn't know it was law for new cars to have them. That must be very recent as neither my wifes not my daughters cars have them. Both 63 plates, Honda and Audi respectively.

They bring out lots of new proposed tests for the MOT each year but very few actually come to get included in the test. Mike.

They bring out lots of new proposed tests for the MOT each year but very few actually come to get included in the test.

A TPMS is included in the test and must work if fitted. They only look to make sure the warning light is not flashing to indicate a fault.
