Full Postcode Search In Sat-Nav?

Does the 450h satnav system have full postcode search yet? If so, is that available to buy for the 400?

I have a fairly recent disc (I can enter satnav destinations on the move) but the fact I can only enter the first 4 characters of a postcode is proving irritating on an otherwise very good system. Problem is worst with campsites and family attractions (as I found out on holiday over Easter) - they tend to have only a postcode for an address and no street name. If they're not in the POI list, it's difficult to enter them.

you cannot get full postcode search on the 400h. I believe all 450h offer this, certainly the newer ones do.

Yes. Both our 2012 RX450 and 2011 IS250 offer full post code search, but our 2007 IS250 only allows the first 4 characters to be entered. So it looks like it is a feature that Lexus implemented on later models.

I use my Iphone now - I find it easier and more up to date...

(CoPilot is my choice )

I still like the visual on the big screen though, on the centre console...

I too use my phone to get the full street address. You can then input it into the car system. Not ideal, but it works.

I note Postcode and street and house number and then stoking up my 400h I input the Postcode, add the street name and then dial in the house number when prompted.

No probs.
